bodal, I am just passing through and my stay here is temporary. Trading with moving averages work well for me on the 15 min tf . I rarely trade the 4 hour. I trade the majors and the yen pairs mainly but crosses are ok if one does come by. You will see me more of me on the 15 min thread

Yeap, we do. And although I had some losing trades last week, this one went much better, all green in front of my eyes.

P.S.: I entered two positions with 0.1 lots, instead of 0.01. It was a mistake. One is closed, the other one is still running. I must mention that I currently trade MEME on demo, not live.

Dudes,but level 68/32 and middle line are important or not?

Over level 68 and under level 32 = probably inversion - no trade?

Cross for long/short must be over/under middle line?

Hello Catalin, I am bit confused on your risk reward ratio. Your SL is very far from your entry position as compared to your TP.
e.g EURNZD D1 on 12/8
- entry 1.49006
- SL 1.53066
- TP 1.48025

Can you explain why?

Hey there!

That is MEME trading, and I am using a tweeked technique of Emm's exit and re-entry method. I am just grabbing pips, and re-enter, whenever price goes in my direction, even after a retracement. I have already explained this in the group with details, but to put it simply here, it is more advantageous, because if market moves in a range for a few candles, if then it decides to go in the right direction, we will win the same amount as if we have not traded the exit and re-entry method. But if the SL gets hit after that ranging period, we lose less with the exit and re-entry method. I am more interested in how much I can lose than in how much I can win, and this method helps me lose less.

I see...ME ME strategy is Emm's technique but I don't understand how that works as in when to re-enter and when to exit. That's why I only trade the norm for now. Good work Catalin!!!

Hi!

What I described there is a management method, so you have to decide the direction of the market. You must know that my last week's results with MEME were not as good. So I do not always get the right direction. If I did, It meant I had a crystal ball. What I can tell you is that I like using the guppies. Maybe you like something else, like 10, 50, 200 EMAs. Maybe you like Big E's template and original method, with no MAs added. You have to decide what you like using, and backtest and forward test. Also know that I am trading MEME on demo, I always feel the need to mention that, because I do not want to give anyone the impression that I am as good as Emm, or just good, period. So that means I still test the method and that I still have my own questions. Otherwise, I would go live with MEME, but now it's not the time.

I do not use Emm's ADR method. But if I did, then I would take profit and re-enter every time PA goes to 0,5 ADR profit (or whatever ADR you use for retracements). I hope that makes it clearer and I hope it helps. Make your own scenarios and see how much you would lose with exit and re-entry method, and how much you would lose without it. Remember to use a ranging period in that test, before market goes to your SL. You will see that you lose less with this method.

Yes I am still bearish eu, some see parity as a possibility, personally I don't know but we will just follow.. I will watch the Sunday open closely for a decision... I will post summary of group members direction bias for the week.
