Once again I tried with Quantum London Trading EA v1.6.1 m13-7-90[staxis] taken from http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...12#post9143912
Used the flat set .

I first used m5 and it put 2 trades in. Then I stopped the EA and moved to m1 and turned the auto trade on again. Then went to bed to sleep. Woke up today and there was no trades put in... Anyone know why? Should I have restarted metatrader when I stopped during m5 and changed to m1?

Also, I am curious, what's essentially the difference between
Quantum London Trading EA v1.6.1 m13-7-90[staxis]
and
Quantum London Trading EA v1.6.1 (the original)?

I know the staxis has much more parameters... But what drove the developer's changes? Thanks!

Quantum - not an intellectual, he simply notes the new extremes at a predetermined interval chart.
If you go to his signals at the beginning of a trend, it's a way to big DD or loss of deposit.
Additional parameters and indicators - an attempt to make trade safer and filter earliest entries into the market.

@Genry - thank you, yes I agree there is no sense in overloading with more indicators. My opinion is the original idea works, and if your innovation can reduce the risk, that is good. I wish I had learned Russian in school. If we can profit from this EA then my first purchase will be a translator.

@fcaldas - If you will tell me the versions you are using and the pairs you are trading (and your broker - was it ICM?) I will trade the same thing as you, on the same broker, at the same time and then we will know what is happening, whether it is the market, the EA or something else.

Colleagues, here are my best (so far) set files that I discovered for EURUSD that survive the difficult periods from early-mid 2016 with acceptable drawdown, in one case, as low as 14%. My opinion is the lower drawdown is superior to max profit because the risk of margin call or collapse is reduced.

I temporarily refused to trade eurusd.

There are other currency pairs, which are now better suited for trading. I have them published for the model, and
Vasilliy checked on the base advisor Staxisa.

That option settings for eurusd with whom I planned to optimize the parameters.
As seen in the screenshot of curves balance of our settings are almost identical.

Thanks, John! In the last sreens profit graph shows almost horizontal. Perhaps the uncertainty surrounding the US presidential election restrains financial market activity.

Prompt please, that means the "test: a new grid with a fixed margin" to 200. When the test at a specific point hangs owls.
When this option is cleared, the adviser has worked fine ???

Answer for EA "Quantum London Trading EA v1.6.xxx [staxis]"
Parameter:
extern double AccFreeMargin = 0.0; // Test: a new grid with a fixed margin -
to control subsidence - that any drawdown on the entire test range was less than this parameter.
Those, it is an imitation of the start of trading with a starting depot any day of the test range.

And then the betting starts from $500, then money becomes $1000, and a week later, with the loss of $ 600, the test passes.
If you really start to trade with these options a week later - will sink.

Can you say this a different way, Genry?

double AccFreeMargin = 0.0; is a GOOD or BAD setting?

If the value is zero, then the check is disabled.

PS. In the settings EA_QLT program is also present option with this name. At first the idea was tested in this program, and then added to the main adviser.
Now, this check does not work, since after testing most of the code is disabled to optimize working faster.
In EA_QLT usually remains only code that is currently verified for proper operation.

PS2. The program has added the names and links to the authors whose ideas and / or code are now used in the program.

Inserted Code

Does anybody else notice that the "break even" parameter does not function? Also, I added some code to turn off Sunday trades and will create a write up in a few days.

Edit: it appears the label and inputs were added but a method was never created :\

Good day, yermommy !

Sorry, could not immediately answer in detail.
In the original version "v1.6.1 m13-8-11 [staxis]" (since mod8-02) was detected the harmful bug: sometimes it opened and immediately closed orders.
In this event no periodicity, so it was hard to find fault.
But the joint efforts of Staxis and members of forum this error was localized.
Yesterday Staxis said that he had found a solution and eliminate this annoying bug. A new version will be released.

Therefore, all previous versions of "Quantum London Trading EA v1.6.1 m13-8-xx [staxis]", since m13-8-02 not serviceable and must be replaced
by a corrected version of the program.

In order not to appear to use Parallel version of the program and does not increase the number of errors, it was decided (in 2015):
all new versions (and revised versions) program produces exclusively Staxis.

If a member of the Forum is making a new proposal, or bug fixes, it creates its own version of the program, checks it and sends Staxis
together with a description of the changes or bug fixes. Staxis examines changes and releases a new version of the program.

Due to the presence of errors, starting with version 8-02 of the program, Staxis stopped the process improvement program to resolve the errors.
Therefore, the option program of your message can not be considered the official version of the program from Staxis because he was
not in control of your changes.

Changed your version has the same name as the original, but is not the original - it is necessary to rename, and the better to remove since
it contains an error in the management of orders.

I can help convey your suggestions Staxis to make them in the official version of the program.

Thank you for your participation and do this process right!

PS. Perhaps the translation of the program code from Russian into English something was not correctly changed and as a result of this error appeared.

PS2. I hope my English and features Google's translator was enough to clarify the situation.

Staxis released a version which fixes unauthorized closing orders.
https://translate.google.ru/translat...5714&edit-text=
Check the messages on the malfunction "GX-lines" and "test: a new grid with a fixed margin"

Good luck, colleagues!
PS. Since the parameters are not changed anyone can do to move from the 11 English version of the parameters in the 12 Russian.
And get 12 English. And share with your friends here...

Genry, quick question. The zip file you uploaded has a lot of indicators. Do I need to put those indicators on the screen before running the EA?
