Weekly showing a reversal... Monthly (which i rarely look at) is showing big bears with that wick... its only there because of the elections - every 4 years, things are slowing down for the dollar, perhaps a retrace is coming...

of course, Italy to Fuck things up?

Don96 with all respect I will allow myself to do some remarks.
On your weekly chart, the next to last candle is indecisive thus you cannot say that this is a reversal engulfing pattern. There is no confirmation either. Edit: Ok maybe harami, but not so sure about that
On the monthly it looks better, but still no confirmation there either.
That's why it is probably better to rely on the fundamentals as of now.

i did not say once it is an engulfing reversal pattern? it was supposed to say showing SIGNS of a reversal... it is a doji candle, as is the USD chart..

Monthly looks a lot more bearish? - i dont trade monthly, too much can happen

yes the weekly is indecisive, yet it is a sign of reversal, and given usual circumstances, tagged with h4 and daily, i would be bullish.

Technically it couln't be more bullish at 6xx. Fundamentaly, Europe is a dump for a decade, so I ignore fundamentals on EU, chart always tells where its headed, up or down.

What you mention are not problems...Europe's problems are bureaucracy, social system and taxes. Thats what makes countries broke...and what makes the laziest people from all over the globe to come to Europe. They wouldn't come to capitalistic heaven where all people who are creative and want to work are supported and the lazy ones are not given shit. They come to Europe, because it gives people more for nothing and punishes those who want to make money and who want to build something. These "problems" you mentioned are a joke compared to the real problems, which have been here for decades. I would personally never make the mistake again to invest in anything in this shithole, just to give it all back to the government to pay for useless lazy idiots who don't do shit all day. Europe is a communistic dump and the sooner the immigrants destroy it, the sooner it can be built up from scratch.

i started to feel that way with the UK tbh, pathetic government, giving to the lazy because they complained about the wealthier/hard working class... inequality wage gap widening blah blah... (agree there are hard workers coming to the UK to live and make a living - however does this offset the scum it attracts as well?, not to mention the shit we already have, they should be forced to work - more and more programs pop up about benefits and complaints about not receiving enough - pile of shit, winds me up)

with all due respect, trump has his downs as as well as ups, and all is yet to be seen, but some of his policies he is said to be bringing hopefully have a knock on affect into other countries... such as the UK... if someone grew some balls, the only problem now is that the country is infested with shit, it would be hard for someone to come in and change that. anyway agree with EU, glad we are out, hope there is change for UK etc etc

I agree with all you say, but I can't agree that the two events taking place today would not make a negative impact on EUR (assuming that Italy votes NO and the Far-right in Austria walks away with the win. And let's not forget France and Germany. This a very decisive and important time for Europe. I think we all can agree on that.

Yes mate. This is exactly what I mean. And with more populism the European Union will eventually collapse. Thus the EUR will lose more and more of it's value unless the governments agree on changing the course while protecting the collaboration.

You are making it yourself pretty easy. Instead, you have to look at the whole process much more detailed.
Do you remember, what happened to Greece? The was a strong movement to separate from the EU as well! And did they succeed with their proposals? NO!

The price an european country has to pay exiting the community is far higher than most of you expect.

So what is going to happen: Maybe Renzi resigns after the vote failed.. maybe there will be reelections .. and maybe populists will get a majority afterwards. Fine.
Up to this point NOTHING is determined! Making big proposals is one thing, but realizing them a totally different one - as you can see impressively in the UK nowadays.
