Made a fake break on the 60 min chart, within 10 pips where the harmonic setup predicted it would make a reversal. Lets see if the bears can maintain control!

UsdJpy H1 timeframe break the support trendline and it looking downtrend .i would pending sell at 113.2 Good luck for me

Hi, i have same view with you...have been post it in my thread.

Have banking some pips as i am intraday...in and out @112.65.

Seem hard target to reach more down but anything can happen anyway.

I pending 113.2 short and hopefully can retrace there then continue down ..we waiting and be patient

You have sold way to early. There is a potential 560 pips of profit in this move to the downside.

Nothing wrong with scalping out these trades...Plenty of times I've held for a swing and wish I'd taken a scalp when it reverses on me.

So long as the '% return' is positive at month end / quarter end / year end (choose your timeline) - the end justifies the means

When i look back my chart , it retrace as high 113.15 .

Very close to your sell pending order.

I am just out as this is friday...not want to hold trade longer.

And i am not holding trade for hundreds pips range is that is not my style and risk profile.

Yes, you are right.

Different style different risk and rewards ...whatever is each has its own challenges.

Not an easy toy to play .

You can do both if you choose - its merely a case of getting position sizing in check (easier said than done).

I've scalped out 146 pips on UJ and EU mainly trading into a UJ swing short - and all UJ has done, is continue up - quite frankly I'm glad I took these 'crappy scalps' - they all add up.

Scalping out secures some profits if the swing trade goes against you and you can still hold entries at suitable levels for a swing trade should it oblige.

#USDJPY - Daily chart descending broadening wedge formation - bearish divergence - OverBought. All lead us to one direction, further downside is expected to come up. We favour sell on rallies.

Finished right on support trendline. There's nothing on the 4h which screams sell, so I'm a bit iffy on this, will need to see what happens on Monday.

In the last week I've only trades very short time frames (few hours) on this pair, haven't really had the guts to commit to any shorts, they always get stopped out (like that false break 2 days ago).

USDJPY resume trend soon?
Expecting correction 4 terminates near 115.00s, before resuming downtrend towards new low.

As for dollar/yen I very rarely look beyond the immediate horizon so who knows.
