Disliked{quote} Hi hsn100, great D1 trades! I have tried to comprehend your entries, but my TDI looks very different from yours, no matter what settings I use (Big E or Pro). Please compare my chart below with your UJ chart.... Your entry TDI cross is above 50 and at the same level as MBL, both TDIs on my chart are at 50 and below MBL. I consider this not as a minor difference, and I don't know if there is something wrong with my TDIs... Could you please share your TDI settings? Thx and regards, {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} Try loading your TDI RT with the default settings : 13,0,34,2,0,7,0. Im pretty sure that is what HSN100 is running. I'm running the pro TDI with a setting a 10. HSN100 has taken several trades that I could have not entered with my TDI. Has anyone ran a lengthy backtest with both settings? I believe from numerous posts Emmanual and others are using the Pro TDI or Pro setting (10,5,34,3,1,7,0).Ignored

Disliked{quote} Thanks Emmanuel. After fighting around 3 months, I found H4 swing trade with MEME fits me well. And got the first good week. Thanks again, my mentor. Next step is to create my own trader manager to help avoid trade mistakes and improve efficiency. Will research MPTM this weekend. muyirIgnored

Disliked{quote} Hi blackfriday! i'm using the old version of tdi posted by BigE on first page of this thread, its settings are 13,0,34,2,0,7,0. Different traders in this thread are using different version, it all depends on ones own priority and it's important to "feel comfortable" whatever indicator we are using. I'm comfortable with this tdi because of it's angle, and most of my trades are based on it. However, first of all i look left for a possible support/resistance, the momentum of PA and then i enter in a trade. Hope this helps. Happy weekend to...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi. Do Not use 52 days ATR. use 100-day ATR or use this indicator on your H1 chart when market open next week. Observe this indicator when the price move up and down on your H1 chart. http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...04#post7972304 regards,Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} 1.) Understand each of the TDI setting parameter and what it shows. 2.) Compare different settings combination and do your own back-testing. Go back to your chart history data (as far back as possible to 2008 to 2016). 3.) Decide on one setting and stick to that in your forward testing and live trading. Write your own rules for Entries and Exits. 4.) Do Not trade simply based on the TDI as your 'signal'. Instead use the TDI to confirm the trade setup. 5.) Your trade setup is based on Price Action and Support/Resistance (Post#647)...Ignored

DislikedDiscipline, Discipline, Discipline! Beware of the time frame your capable of trading. There were lots of 4hr bottoming action and 1hr reversal entries last week and I was suckered into a lot of them even though I don't have time to actively follow the short time frames and only to see the long term trend prevail. While I was a loser this past week, I have (hope) learnt that I must follow some of the more simple rules. This system is better as a trend following system and while it can be good at intra trend moves you must have the time and discipline...Ignored
