For almost 10 days I've been waiting for EA to go back to 1.415x so that I buy it, I even had a pending but cancelled it because I had to go out, so pissed, missed on 700 pips!
Edit : I would most likely have taken profit when hit 500 pips lol.

shit, you blink & miss it on these VIX spikes anymore. I need to see the thing elevate for a day or so, at least. Do the markets care who is President? Could be the Trump win feeds more do-nothing from the Fed, which could be a relief? Well. we'll see...

Markets behaving as anticipated completing the initial knee jerk reaction a few hours before the rest of the mortal and the main media outlets declared the winner. As widely expected all in perfect areas for the European opening.

It's a big US news, Europe will be timid without NY at least opening today and won't set in motion anything beyond covering the air left in between from the measured knee jerk reaction moves.

Expecting talking heads and mass hysteria of celebration and shock for others to be noisier than any market reaction beyond the current levels. We jumped from 91% chances DEC hike to 45% on the initial reactions in London open but it will settle down[up] after the next few sessions to get back as business as usual for the rest of the year.

For the real impact of the election. US equities with a mid and long term high in play for Q4. Sadly the global economy and free trade outlook for next year and beyond look rather bleak with the 2 largest free trading blocks in the world under attack from next year. Major outlooks updates cooking for the US this week.

For now is just the election hangover first, jitters from the unaware, celebrations from those who think they got a golden goose instead of a turd and discomfort and caution for the rest of the mortals.

Tracking closely the rest of the European session and for those in Euro 1.111x as anticipated last night is the one in play.

/VX popped 16 to 24 and now back to 17, by the time I can pull my options dick out my pants the vol spike booty will be gone. In the very short term this election result may end up being almost a non-event, but as you suggest, that is bound to change. I am going to take some vitamins and do some extra bong hits to see if I can figure out how to anticipate that...

This maybe change something short term. Has perhaps already happened and was what pushed below 1.1110 level directly. Do you know what we can expect here Sisse?

Took eu shorts at 1245 last night stops at 1335. Tp1 1145 (stop loss order on 30% of the position sitting there) tp 2 at 0974 tp 3 tbd. Not real confident the map I've got applies to the new world but it's the map I got so...

Other than that still flat.

Election sending shockwaves across Europe. Lots of action taking place under the table, also projections and expectations radically changing for next year and beyond.

Still NY and the US to come but is confirmed. GAME CHANGER in play!!!. For those not familiar with a major game changer, it very seldom happens this year we have two in both sides of the Atlantic and will bring major changes across all markets correlations and asset classes.

Lots of action and outlooks updates coming and as usual in those major market events they will start form the macro to the micro in a domino effect (like is panning out with Brexit).
