A coin has two sides to it so everything is possible. You may certainly be right. Japan is now concentrating on tourism and exports so for these two they really can not have a strong YEN. The Chinese Yuan is also weakening and projected to weaken further. With further weakening of Yuan I doubt that the YEN would strengthen. I may be wrong but unless we break under 100 my bet is on a weakening YEN.

I expect a deep consolidation after taking a few pips from the 105 level. Channel rounds down, so next level to expect the bottom can be 102.0
BoJ will not engulf all of the flow, it just makes upmove sightly easier. Enforcing a whole market not to buy yen can deliver much more disasters for the yen. For example, engulfing bottom 1000 pips can result in a 300 yen per dollar in the near future. BoJ does not want do ignite a hyper inflation by their emits, but can help to reach the upper levels more easily. For example, they helps us to reach 105 more faster, but reaching 99 level will be more slower.
This doesn`t cancel a whole trend.
Market following their way no matter of the BoJ.

Very rarely does the YEN weaken in America only to gain in Japan the following day. This is a green light from America for YEN to weaken
