Unfortunately my friend, i do not have the MQ4 files for those pivot indicators. I've searched, but couldn't find any. They work very well for me though as they are now. Godspeed.
Dear Gorraf and others,
I am attaching a Price action EA that buys or sells when the 4H candle crosses 34 EMA. The EA works but does not have a sound strategy to stop opening more buy or sells when the price action has lost momentum. This means that even if i manually exit, it will open further trades eventually losing money. I am not sure what indicator should be used to decide when a new trade is not opened. I am looking for ideas to strengthen the entry and exits by modifying the EA.

hi goraff

i require your help the EA they made me for me , i had put the indicator as desired by the EA but when the indicator makes a crossover nothing happens neither buy or sell. it make make buy or sell when there are no crossover.

is this of the indicator or the EA.

Is that the EA I have made or is it done by somebody else?
I'm just curious because the EA I have made for you used an aqua colored line as well, and I do not recognize the alert text either.

If you want me to have a look on it, please upload the mq4 file or attach it to one of your posts.

The first thing i noticed is that MOST of the arrows showed up in the right places. However, there are also lots of the green arrows that printed under the red color. For example, Green arrow, while the line is still red, but I never found a Red arrow while the line is still green.

My thought is maybe we need to code the printing of the arrows at the close of each bar and then compare that bar to the color of the line itself. If at the close of the bar, the line is still red, and it has printed a red arrow before, then it should not print another arrow until the line actually changes color. Each arrow color must match the line color and printed 1 bar after the color change to maintain the integrity and consistency of the line. Please forgive me. I'm trying to explain in a layman's term, you're the expert. I truly appreciate all you're doing. Please see the attachment to illustrate what I mean. Thanks.

I have forgotten yesterday, to tell you, that, without an MQ4 file, or without a description abut what the onther indicator does, I can't implement it to or merge it with an other indicator. I should know, at least it's basic logic to work with it.

I cannot thank you enough. You are a real blessing and an awesome human being. Thank you.

I just checked the updated one out. It worked excellently. The only problem now is the Alerts.

1. The Alerts does not tell me whether the arrow is UP or DOWN. It just sent me some texts about YouTube, etc. It needs to be able to tell me whether the arrow is DOWN or UP so i can take the appropriate action.

2. Each time I receive a signal alert, The code repeats the alerts and i get over 100 alerts for the same thing immediately. I believe it should send only one alert per signal and not repeat the alert until another valid signal is given.

Now regarding the other 2 indicators (Post #240, Picture #2), you are right, i do not have the MQ4 for them. However, if you think you might still make it work with this signal, please let me know, and i can give you the details of how they work, so that way, we can then incorporate them with the TRENDLINE Indicator.

Once we get the Email and the Mobile alerts corrected, we can go ahead and try with the other indicators. Once again, Gorraf, I truly appreciate you. Thank you so much. I'll still be working through the weekend in case you post the update. Have a wonderful weekend.

I have the predictor V2 indicator. Would you be able to change it, to not show the value in the boxes, or make an option to change the colours on the values and boxes? As it is now, it makes the chart too busy. If you could assist me with this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much Gorraf. I really appreciate all your assistance. I have installed the revised TrendLine and testing it on the one minute charts to see if it will alert. I will keep you posted,

In the meantime, Please can you take a look at the following and tell me if you can code an alert for this indicator. It will have to be your own logic since i do not have the MQ4 for the indicator. My train of thought is to do a brand new alert that searches for that indicator, and when the required action is completed in that indicator, then our new alert will send a message. I am attaching an image here for you to see and the indicator EX4. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I need help with my MA Cross EA that I developed using Fxpro Quant. When the MA Crosses up the bot opens a Buy Postion with TP and SL and it also opens a Sell Pending order approximately 11 pip away from the Buy position and the opposite happens when the MA crosses down.

If the Buy Postion SL is triggered, what code can be added to the EA to open a new Buy Pending order at the original price when the Buy order was started? I am newbie and have no idea on how to code. Please assist.
