long entries in this test turned mostly into losses, because of the significant down trend for a long period.
I will take the trend into account in my manual backtest to start soon.

Yep. My backtests with poor entries still have good results. I advise trying my manual backtester EA over a year of data and see how your results come out.

however I wont be using your EA, because there are so many things I would like to record, even before I enter a trade to see if they have any effect on the outcome of the trade.
to name a few: trend direction, candle formation in new direction, size of signal candle compared to daily ATR to measure momentum, wick size of signal candle, add more than 10-15 pips to signal candle if it is a small size, high or low volatile environment.
after entry: what to do after price action is against our trade, but not stopped out yet; record pips won/lost day1, day2 etc before being stopped out for optimum profit taking in that environment.
could even be better to stand aside for 1-2 weeks when markets act "irrationally" and trade on the hated demo account.

after I collect all these details, hopefully I can come to an optimum for every facet under the prevailing conditions.
not only will I avoid losing trades outright, but the number of consecutive losses - maximum DD - will be cut substantially.
what that means is that even though I enter fewer trades, I can substantially raise my position size per trade and might be at least twice as profitable as the guy with the sloppier entries.
that`s just my guess and I`ll just see what happens

Agree. Great programming but no EA for me, there are too many other variables I need to see.
The whole point of Bk8 system is that it is SO simple and only requires a few minutes a day, once you are familiar with its nuances.
Part of the fun of trading for me is learning to 'eyeball' the charts, then use simple criteria to quickly decide on a trade.
and as others have mentioned, more is often less. A few 'confident' trades per year with larger pip size can far outweigh numerous little 'maybe' trades.
Patience.
Maybe the wine will help. :-)

Im sure you can add extra indicators to the chart and do all of those measurements yourself. you can certainly add more than 10-15 pips to the candle wicks by using adjusting the horizontal line. I did mention it was manual? it takes no trades on its own. All you have to do is click the resume/pause button and skip each day you don't see a setup. Anyway, its not up to me how people practice their strategy

Hello friend! Your EA looks very good! Thx! But But it is necessary to add functions:
1) Add filter for entry - for buy price up the midline BB, for sell price under midline BB. (true/false)
2) Add optional filter for entery TDI signal. (true/false)
3) Add partial closed: 1st - midline BB closed 1/3 position + add breakeven (optional), 2nd opposite line BB closed 1/2, and 1\3 no TP and closed opposite signal om entery or trallingstop. (true/false)
4) Add traling stop all position standard on the system. (true/false)
My english is not good....
