AUDUSD mostly like to reached at least 0.7720 before go down ....

ABCD, AB leg = 143pips, CD leg still gained only 100pips, 40 more to go up!

Given the sentiment towards this pair today, highly likely it will close the gap up to 7710-20. The topside trendline will be ignored. How it behaves after that will determine where it goes from here. Maybe alas the pair will sit in a new range; or it will fail and come back down within the topside trendline.

Depends on what "top" or "bottom" you're trying to pick. The GBP had no known technical support so the risk was big. The AUD on the other hand has definable topside resistance. Gives good risk/return as long as one knows when to exit the trade if it turns bad.

Anyway dude, it's never good to laugh at someone else's losses

Good advice

Its better to educate those that loose instead of laugh. I too were long on the pound at post brexit support ( if you would call it that) So many lost their entire accounts and this is ONLY due to poor MM. I lost 4% that day and made it back 3 days later.

Im looking for a short at .77100. Was considering at .76900, which looks like would of been a good 15 pips at this stage.

Employment data out tomorrow and rather wait for that

I had a sell order at .76896, with TP 10pips. The high print on my broker went to .76895. Such a bummer, it missed taking up my order by .1pip. Yeah waiting for Thursday's employment data.

This was hard day, but took profit from some shorts and now keep my shorts till 0.7640/25 with stop loss 0.7695. There are trend line and fibonacci resistance. Have a green trades everyone!
+ friday was good news for US, today and looks that tomorrow will be, but about AUD employment data have two forecasts - negative (OANDA) and positive(FF).

Hi all. What are the long term predictions? I have a short from 0.7660. Goal - 0.7380 the of the level 61.8% Fibonacci retracement from 30.05.2016. Then, I think, will be the resumption of the uptrend.

I see around 0.82 or so, based on my projections for Oil and CAD and rough correlation with AUD. However, I think there is still going to be some heavy chop-chop action for a couple weeks to a month. I don't think THE trend has started yet. Lock profits or at least move stops to b/e

Aud is still mimicking iron ore.

Ore Spot price has kicked up a couple of % the last few days. Similar to that of the AUD.

On top of this Coal has risen over 100% last half year. I didnt notice this until recently, and i dare say if this didnt happen AUD would be at .70 rather than the .75.

Everything is just noise limited to a range, unless the US can pull their heads out of their butts, I'm watching commdities to make my trades. With China as secretive as they are it's difficult, pundits saying ore will ease to $45 a ton next year (from $58 currently). But China is still heated and its hard to see that. The next couple of months will tell the story.

Not too good news for China, good US data (was and forecast), trend line and fibonacci... I hope that now AUD/USD will go down at least to 0.7640/25.

As said one of forex broker company main analyst - to trade AUD/USD need very, very big patience!

I would rather trade these pair not on the long term.. It can be long period of waiting and the price will be likely jump upside and down, before it will reach your target.. Unless there is some impact news that can move the pair 100 pips in a day and strong enough to continue the movement on the second day..

I trade base on daily and 4 h and 1 h chart for now. Try to get 30-50 pips if can.. But also need to protect at least 120-140 pips distance if things turn against my position.
