I missed it too, hoping for re-test of 1.536 area to get in a sell trade as i have this as a S&R area for the 4hr charts, so far its retracing so fingers crossed!

I just tried on 10,0 and it seems his navy blue line is in fact 10,0. Can Bk8 verify if this is true? If so, why is it 10,0 instead of 5,0 which the rules stated?

I think the small difference between peoples lines are the difference between the daily close points of different brokers and where they are in the world. ie. London/ Europe close charts will be different from NY charts and will therefore give discrepancies between them and their lines? Just a thought from a beginner

Sure but what you are maybe missing is that the call was to lock in profits not to close open positions but rather trail our stops in case of adverse move.
I still think the call was spot on.

according to nieuw ( Experiment)rouls sma 5,0 and sma5,3 the candle didnt close below both sma's, i will wait till this happens than enter the trade,

Hi MrRijk, sure but as stated below in Bk8's strategy update he is mentioning that he still believes as I do that 5,0 gives better results that 5,3.


... I was consistent profitable with SMA 5,3 for almost 6 months....but later we noticed 5,0 was more promising and 90% setups were profitable for almost 3 weeks but next 3 weeks was very disappointing so we started a new experiment to test cross or SMA 5,0 and SMA 5,3.
Please use this new strategy for testing purpose only... if we find consistent in next 5-6 months, we will use going forward.
I still believe SMA 5,0 should is the best strategy so far.

If you see patiently on these printscroll you will conclude easily that any candle hasn't tuch yet uper bollinger band line chanceses are to price turn and tets that area before turn down an in such case you can be burned.... Anyway don' wory read the read patiently you willl learn

Don't mes in such area, you will ask why? Beacuse both currencies are in bullish mode so is hard to play in such area, try to pick a pair beetwen strong and weak currencies

Hi Mizi123, you are right both are risiing against USD, however let us not forget the importance of:
1) S/R lines
2) Candlestick patterns, here a bearish harami, a weaker pattern than bearish engulfing but still a bearish signal.

In addition the reversal pattern comes at the high of BB and after what seems to be an exhaustion of the former upward trend, which should be easily verified with Stochastic.

Listen bro difference is that here we play in daily mode you have take the decision in H1 if i have understod you well. See daily resistance is up here and chances are to these be tested again like i have told you bolinger band lines are nothing more or lees that support and resistance

So was it on Aug. 8-9;which lead to the downward trend tll mid-Sept....
