EURAUD Week 42 , Oct 17 H1 Price Action + TDI Divergence setup trade.

When you want to trade against the 'trend' or previous strong move, you must look for additional chart condition to add probability to the TMS trade setup.
This H1 trade set shows there was recent Divergence between the Price Action and the TDI.

TDI 12-2 clock face angle example:

With my EURAUD H1 trade SL moved to BE, this H1 trade convert to a H4 trade when the last H4 closed with TDI P-Slope =5

Hi,

that slope or angle of the TDI Green line has nothing to do with the actual time of the day.

the analog clock face is just a way which Big E used to describe the slope of the TDI Green line.

just look at the slope direction of the TDI Green line whether it is pointing upwards or downwards.

traders tends to confuse this with his trading hours.

USD/CAD - 4 hour entry candle shown (now closed on my broker time) - stop at 1.3100. Green cross red (12-2 angle) and price sat on 200 EMA on 4 hour and on trendline on Daily chart.
Holding for 4 hours and then moving to B/E and taking partial profit.

Hi Emm.
BigE referred only to the green line. Have found that both red / green show the same direction the drawback is less and the trend stronger.

Nice Spot Sir but R:R is not good as per your SL and TP located in your chart. (totally newbie in front of your exp.)
Below is my plan for this pair could you please throw some light on my view ,as you can see my chart I removed APB Bar it annoy me reading candle patterns on important areas.

Would you avoid this setup as the Daily and 4 hour chart are clearly in a downtrend? Would this be the sort of trade to pass on?

Candle looks a bit small to trade on my normal trading chart

Hello all!

I opened EURUSD BUY @1.09872 10:04 AM (GMT + 3):

Why I took the trade:

  1. cross TDI
  2. 2nd blue candle
  3. TDI near 32 level, which means a reversal is coming up (it might as well continue down for 50,100 pips before reversal)
  4. Divergence on H4
  5. Close to suport level around 1.09640

What I need to be careful is that we have strong downtrend daily and we are close under 1.1000 level.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I had previously opened buy EURCAD and EURAUD as well, both are around 15~20 pips profit at the moment.

Hello Guys,

Would you give me some help here. I am not so successful with the method, although I am trying hard to study it. I am using jForex API 2.12. Here is what i see on EUR/USD:

Changing this input parameter gives my VERY different lines. Could you please let me know am I using TDI right? If not, why? Should I change something?

What version are you using?
Input data must be "Close Price"
download TDI-RT-Clone.mq4 and use default settings
EURUSD H1 does not have a flat line for over that period. Would say history on that chart is corrupted. To analyze corrupted chart is to look for problems.

Update EURUSD and post a new chart
