Hi Dave, thanks for your hard work in such a unique EA!
I have some question regarding your EA, could you please help to answer?

1.) In the backtest, if multiple pair were used in setting, does the backtest means backtest for across all the pair?
2.) For the optimization portion, if multiple pairs were used, is the optimized setting applicable across all pairs ie. 1 setting for each pair or 1 setting for all pairs?
3.) What is the backtest data source, from broker feed or?
4.) Is the backtest 99%?

Thank you.

Any symbol can be described as long as there is no space within the symbol.

Either change the designation to fl and nominate the size of the wager manually or change the 2.0 to whatever percentage you require.

Please go back and review Post #2.

The backtesting and optimization modes are across all described pairs and the parameters are common to all.

The data source is your own provider and is real time data tested for SL before TP on the same bar.

You do realize that trades will only be opened between 1220 and 1255 (MT4 time) and only if they break the upper or lower limits? If you wish to change the parameters, just alter the input strings.

Whatever time your MT4 platform displays, is the relevant time. You will need to amend your inputs as appropriate to the market times that you are monitoring.

Without seeing your trade log, I can't give you answer other than all those trades are still open (only the first 10 are shown) and that is why no further trades are being taken. I will also need a copy of your set file. (upload as .txt)

The trade log and trade journal will provide further information.

Appreciate your quick response, i think after decreasing TF from 5 to 1 and increase look back bar from 4 to 20, it solved the problem.
Plus using M1 TF might be a bit more accurate in term of modeling quality, but slower indeed to optimize.

When you optimize, as well as placing a "x", after the parameters to optimize, you can use an "='" sign instead and that will indicate the a parameter will be optimized along the same lines as the previous parameter.

The upcoming AgilityTrader3 will incorporate an alphabetical system where all common parameters to be optimized will be followed by the same letter of the alphabet. That is use "a" for the first set of common parameters, "b" for the next set and so on.
