Thanks for the alert.

RSI logic is built into the EA and I had been using RSI parameters at the time.

V2.02 returns the Variable Range variables but is unchanged from the previous build apart from the inputs. Those inputs trade or scan for RSI moving though lower and upper levels and can be used as well as Variable Range Breakout.

Thanks you for your sharing Dave, i have tested your ea for two week always with the last version but i have no trade (for auto mod). Also in scanning mod when i click to a trade, when one appears (i see your video) nothing happens. I allow all in my terminal (dll, url, autotrade). I have doing backtest and optimaze like your video and my autotrade and scanning mode are in green in yours ea. Do i something wrong ?

There are a number of points in your message.

  1. The EA has only been released for 1 week.
  2. From your enclosed screenshot, you are not using the template correctly. Maximize the chart, then load the template file. If your price graph is showing, right click on chart properties and ensure the chart is set to plot in the background. Only then, when everything is black, load the Expert Advisor. There is no use loading the EA and then maximizing the chart because the presentation will appear like your screenshot.
  3. In your screenshot, the Auto Trade button is not clicked and that would mean no auto trades are taking place. Just be aware that the default settings only provide for trading within 1 hour each day. If no trades take place from your scanner, check your journal. Most probably your lot size is < .01 ($500 is the minimum equity with 2% risk)
  4. If you want to test the auto trade immediately, just change the parameters to the current hour. If the price moves outside the range, trades will take place. Also you can use an RSI strategy (the logic is built into the EA) and I have enclosed a set file. (Rename to .set)

I have allowed a standard 2 pips spread. This may not be enough on the exotics but is sufficient on the standard pairs including commission.

Yes. That is correct.

Every time a new bar is generated within the designated timeframe and a signal is valid, there will be a new advisory. In the auto trade mode, no new signal is generated while a trade is opened.

I have installed the version from post 72, but it does not shows the open trades. (presently 3 open trades in mt4)
