EURUSD NY just open and the H4 shows steep angle 12-2 clock face, HA move above the 5EMA,

Tricky one, do you want to buy against the strong D1 down trend?

H4 still has another one hour before it closes.

So it's fair to say that we avoid going long on this one until we see the D1 change direction? Is that right? Just want to make sure that I am understanding it correctly. Thanks.

I am no expert, but personally I would not consider going long on H4 whilst TDI is strongly oversold [indicating a strong downtrend]

Not with the cross happening in the OS zone. But I'll be in the blue zone, looking for shorts. Lock and load!

Hi Catalin,so you would not look to buy the bounce is it not worth the risk buying against trend?

I am taking a similair trade USD/CHF a mirror of EUR/USD yes I am trading counter trend because the price is quite extended and at an importatnt weekly resistance level

My money management:

risk 1 percent of equity
two entries 0.5 percent of equity on each position
at r:r = 1 exit the first position and move stop loss of the second position to break even (overlaps also with 23percent fib retracement)
at r:r=2 or above depends on price action close second position (overlaps with the 38 fib level and a round number and a previous swing level)

Hi!

It is easier swimming with the current than against it, don't you agree? I would consider buying if I was trading a LTF and H4 was my HTF. But the higher the timeframe, the more reliable it is.

You mentionated some posts earlier, that there is a script to plot the trades from history on the chart, w/o the need to manual drag each of them? What is the name of that?
About your Hard Stop, on ME/ME since it's not a stop meant to be hit if you are wrong, just a save in case of something like GPB flash crash, or CHF last year, how much in % are you confortable to hold in Relative DD? not sure if relative is the word, but the DD of open positions of your baskets.

I'm using ME/ME this way: H4+D1 same side, I enter small positions to same side when there is retraces on LTF, this is my equity curve so far this month
using a live micro account not even 1k $. The fall on the curve was an 1.00lot instead 0.01lot order, 9 seconds till I realise the mistake and closed and was already enought for a nice damage on my graphic

Daily sell taken on EUR/AUD. Targeting 1.450.

To all you TMS guys who have this licked, does this seem an ok trade for a daily timeframe?

Do not trade this pair and timeframe so at fast look: No
Look at the angle of red/green, Storch is close to 20 line, is colour of bar the same as higher time frame, where is support/resistance.

Sydney first 2 hours of trading are usually very quiet with low liquidity.
Tokyo will open in 2 hours time.

Look at AUDUSD, AUDJPY and EURJPY

Pick the best looking pair according to TMS setup rules and try get that 15 to 20 pips every morning.

If Plan A fails, use Plan B.
If Plan B also fails then Plan C usually will work out.

Do you have the right mental strategy for this way of very short term trading?
