We hear this all the time.
There will be losses in trading. We accept the losses and move on.
But some losses can be avoided when we trade with the market trend and making sure we use a Stop Loss.
Trading made Simple 5-Method is safe trading with the market trend.
We trade the reversal using the APb setup which closes across the 5EMA which shows us the direction of the 'trend' of that moment. This setup must be confirmed with good price momentum which the TDI will support our trade setup decision.

Here is a post-mortem of EURGBP week 40 using the 5-Method trading approach.
Hindsight is 20:20 vision. So is back-testing by scrolling back to history charts.
Do your own forward testing in realtime live market condition.

hey unigeni1 - when ur start'n TMS Big E said 2 exit when the Green TDI line 'hooks' the other way - ex - if u BUY then after some time u r in profit then the Green TDI line hooks down - exit ...... like Big E said practice on demo first ......... thnx 2 all the other guys 4 sharing ur TMS Big E experience ....... IMO it is a gr8 system ..... even if u move on later - u learn alot

hey mousteven - NO it does not follow TMS Big E's trading system - if it did the 2 systems results would b the SAME <- i hope i dont have 2 use a chart 2 show u this ...... they both use the TDI sure - BUT! in very different ways ....... different ways means they r different systems ..... simple

2,042 indicators / pdf / scripts posted. You only need the first 5 on page 1.
How many FF members are going to ask the same questions over and over because they want to be spoon feed.
To lazy to spend time in doing their own studies, did not bother to complete babypips or do not even read the first few pages posts.
I think I know TMS5 and the little I do know I still get half of it wrong.
I would rather see or ask that the few red flags and regular posting members politely refer newbies to babypips, help file of the trading platform they use. Insist that everybody and anybody study BigE Full.pdf

Where are all these extra indicators coming from? This is a powerful simple system that works
just like I've shown you. I remember posts where I was told that it just had to be more
complicated... but it's not. Any additional templates or indicators will influence your decision
making..
On the TDI I enter when green crosses red after checking out the PA, hi/lo, Stoch and then make
my decision...
One chart above had 40 hours in a small channel but the TDI was pointing up a little from the 32
line... Personally I saw flashing yellow lites on the PA. Right or wrong I wouldn't have entered at
that time... I'd find a cleaner chart... There are lots of trades always so if you miss one... so what.
Bet on the safer charts.
The reason I want you to enter when green first crosses red or when it bounces is because that's
when you have momentum normally... better odds in your favor.
If you select the right chart and crossing you won't settle for 10 pips profit unless your neighbor
is out front giving out free gold bars. I've taken a few like that while I was learning.
Any of you want to take over this thread? Let me know and I'll leave quietly... You got ideas... PM
me and don't just tack them to the thread please... it starts to confuse others trying to learn.

Excellent post. very well articulated with very clear charts.
This shows how TMS can evolve and will continue to evolve with the fundamentals teachings of Big E 5-Method. It has been 4 years cine Big passed away in Oct 2012 and his simple trend trading method continues to through the test of time. Big E was correct that his 5-Method can be traded in different timeframes from 5-minutes to Day chart and also to trade the Weekly chart timeframe. We need to use risk and money strategies to mitigate those bigger pull back on D1 chart and also the Weekly chart setups entries. This is why we use the %Risk model and do Position Sizing which Big E never mentioned in all his 1485 posts. His money management and risk management is very different but the 5-method remain the same. Big E never mention during his time here how we can " let profits run". Does that mean we do not do that? I believe the answer is NO.
There are different ways to mitigate those huge price pull back when we trade the higher TF like H4, D1 and also W1 charts setup. Using Multiple Entries / Multiple Exits is just one of several ways/methods. FF member Graviton share his very successful method and we can all be open minded and learn from one another so that the newbie TMS traders as they gain more experience and become better at trading this method, they will also one day acquired this knowledge and experience from other members here.
I see the spirit to share is here despite a few non-believers who are against this. There is a proven way to make some money from the markets. We should not stop others from knowing the ways and we should give them the chance to acquire the knowledge and gain experience on their own. The knowledge and experience they gain can the be pass on to their own family members and community folks.

Steven this is not an attack on you. I have typed what it I see and understand TMS. Your chart analyze has been done after the adrenalin rush and in hindsight. Did you really been thinking that rasional that moment or was it panic maganic trading. That is not trading, that is gambling. You were very lucky that the market moved into your favor. Not one of the points to look for when placing an order was met.
Analyzing in hindsight is easy with time on hand(I even get it 100% correct) and extremely difficult when the clock is ticking

Perhaps I expressed myself the wrong way. What I meant is that you don't trade like Big E traded TMS. And don't get me wrong, I am not saying it is a bad thing. I wish to stop here, because it may sound as I am one of the traders that is against you, and that is not the case. Keep up the good work!

Why you show here in this pages only closed trades? Why you dont show here pictures D1 and H4 which is a potential Setup? Look my two pictures above (post 71.928)
A lot of new traders have a problem to confirm a pairs to take a trade or not.

I have been posting Big Picture Plan and my trade plan for many months. And follow up with postig when I open my trades and provided updates day to day. last week was 2 examples.

Is this not good enough?

If you want me to post TMS trade setup alerts, I can only do this when I have time to be online.

But please tell me which currency pairs do you all trade and want to have trade setup alerts.

If I don't see at least 50 members / new traders reply with post requesting the same, I wont do it at all.

Whatever I do here must benefit more members and the members who speaks up by posting.
