This is what you are looking to place after the open on Sunday? The rules are after daily close, just would hate to see you trapped in a big gap on Sunday open with an order from Friday. You are definitely a braver person than me risking 4% of your account.

No, I already placed the trades but I'm demoing for now. And about risking 4%, you have to find your own risk tolerance and see what SL and trade management you're most comfortable with
With the rules posted by Bk8 there is little chance prices will hit the original SL, but it can happen as you guys have seen these past 2 weeks.

I am still around quietly reading thread but has nothing to contribute at the moment. Does that mean I have changed strategy after last two weeks of losing streak?
Of course when you follow a thread you will take signals which everyone has agree upon and based in your own judgement. That I feel is the beauty of an excellent thread. Absolutely nothing wrong.

Has anybody backtested ea? If the system has an edge the ea will quickly find.If not the only people winning with this method will be using something else than hard and fast rules

It's easy to program a mechanical strategy but impossible to program a subjective strategy.

For example, the "avoid sideways" how do you tell the EA this parameters?

There must be many EA out there now for MA crossover trading or similar that can do this testing now.

But no one can be bothered, same as they can't be bothered to take the guidelines and visually back test a few pairs,

And then write out their own rules and a trading plan; that's too hard, just come here and ask questions...
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

I'm following this thread since from the beginning and have been testing the strategy with demo and live account. I find this strategy very effective, very simple and less stressful. To insure higher probability of success, one has to apply good MM and to be aware of the fundamentals,i.e., news and economic data. I'm looking for new trade opportunities again next week. Many thanks to Bk8 for starting this thread.
