i'm still standing behind my target expectations... before year end cable should be trading above 1.90... most likely at around 2.00... let's wait just a little bit more...)))
i might make some mistakes sometimes in terms of timing, which is extremely difficult to predict usually, but the target mentioned here is a must... and in any case it's not gonna take years to get there... just a few months at longest....

sure... was out for a while... travelling... though still back to trading now... i assume next week is gonna be quite active and interesting overall... likely to see a huge sell-off on usd across the board... aud/usd is the only usd pair so far that hasn't' completed its correction yet... likely to hit 0.7470 first on Monday before turning around... usd/rub also seems quite ready for a free-fall...

hm, you are joking? , the move down from 2.0 area took 6 to 7 months in 2008 . What you mean can trigger that it does a opposite move almost twice as strong as the crash during the financial crises in 2008 in 1/3 of the time. And when the country is an chaos without any plan for the Brexit and the future for GB . So what can get that to move 6500 pips against fundamentals

I think we can see a retracement from the strong move down we have seen. But from there to a reversal 6500 pips I can not in my wildest fantasy think or believe will happen in 2016 ( or even 2017 ) So interesting to hear what is your idea behind that.

I have marked 1.90 and 2.0 in my chart just to show how big move is needed. This is monthly chart.

But based on what. There is QE . Not much if any positive for GB to see . ( The last upmove from bottom took more then 7 Years. What you tell will happen in a couple of months, and when that happened it was optimism in GB ) And arrows was pointing up .

based on my 23 years of actual trading experience and chart reading ability... ))))
in this particular case there are lots of clues calling for such an outcome... and not only on cable... it's also quite possible for example that the swissy also topped-out today and is about to start declining next week towards its own distant target which is located at around .58-60

but actually there is nothing special to show... we all have those charts... the point is that any sharp trend gets fully covered sooner or later... we can see that the sharpest decline on monthly cable charts started in 2008 from 1.9845 ( top of August )... markets always returns to cover such a thin chart area... actually it works on any time frame...
market also always comes back to continuation diamonds, triangles and flat surfaces...

market is moving in cycles... a full cycle, which includes 2 full trends ( both ways ), usually takes 8 years to complete... so, it's likely that 2008 decline will be covered fully before this year end...

this trend line comes this very month at 1.9841, which is almost exactly the top of august 2008...

Well, it didnt, al least not on my charts and broker 1.33135 was max Bid.

Ok Nothing surprises me in this market. For a move like this to happen a lot of things should happen. Maybe a good combination of the following will help: Trump become president and manage to do some not so smart immediately ( will not surprise me ) . Fed decrease interest rate to negative, Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson together admit they was wrong and join forces to campaign to cancel Brexit And BOE hike strongly. A huge nature disaster in US. It will for sure be some signals in the market when the trend change from fundamental side so we will notice when it start. For now I have sell outlook short term and Strong sell outlook mid and long term. I think it is very unlikely. But not impossible .
