GBP has plunged everywhere

GBP/USD dropped 700 pips in a few minutes!

I was watching the same, all GBP crosses, got 60 pips spread on GBPNZD

I was not referring to APB 1. In my book, live candle = a candle that has not closed yet. Anyway, thanks for the explanations, Emm!

As a small retail trader I really don't know.
It can be just concindence what I based my BPP and trade plan.

But based on my own experience, I know that the D1 candle that closes aboev the 0.88396 level will be a big candle.

we can only hold on for as long as our account deposit can handle the floating losses/drawdown. .. before we get margin call.

I did hung on to all my GBPAUD, GBPCAD and GBPNZD sell trades since last week with a total floating DD less than 5%.

After this huge GBP move, the TDI signal are no longer 'reliable' to trade with. It takes time to settle down back to normal.

Let's look at other non-GBP pairs to trade today and for the next week.

we can use "No SL*" but we can use Equity protection.

* SL means placing hard SL in our broker server.

But there is also POSL which means Power Out Stop Loss which can be use to protect our account like in the SNB case.
POSL are set in the broker server and brokers will honour these POSL.

market makers MM is just a broad classification. they fall into one of the five.

ok, good.

I have same understanding what a 'live bar / candle".
Most of the TMS entries on APB#1 and APB#2 are done in 'live bar/candle".
Big E entries are also often in a live candle.

bar = price bar
candle = APB/HA candle

Wow. I saw the drop on gbp grabbed my phone to see wtf? No news! What would cause big drop like that if no news? This is what scares me about forex. Like wild wild west these people can do anything they want at any time. Happens all the time huge spikes for no reason insane! No stop loss will help you in this case just hope no one was long.

A lot of different views on what happened today.
Chinese Bank holiday today so the Chinese markets are closed today. The weekend will buffer their markets. We shall see what will happen when Monday resume trading. FTSE will panic and USD and JPY will raise demands.
In chaos there are opportunities.

For the small time investors outside the UK, this is a good time to look at buying that London property for investment. I see the market for student accommodation in London is something to look at more seriously now. With 'cheaper' GBP (short term), the foreign students numbers still be there even with the quota numbers. Rental yield is still good and the property value will appreciate in time.

First of all congrats to you mate on educating many new learners like me in forex industry , indeed your valueable insights helps alot of people here i.e. newbies specially. i have been reading this thread for most of my time and decided to say formally hello to everyone in this thread and start to get more active from now on.

I have seen too many indicators and templates posted by you from the start till now. and i guess reading through 3500 plus pages will take some time though. Would you be kind enough to summarize me and others , which set i should be looking now to start testing this technique
