I just checked the MONTHLY TPO charts and both markets (S&P and DOW) bounced off of their September Monthly POC lines.

They also couldn't cross their Tuesdays POC's

When you see uncovered close, do you mean closes where the there are very few TPO blocks? Or does it mean something else? That was actually what I was confused about haha

A; In my view a close is the price where the Cash market closed at the end of the day.
When the next day the Cash market opens higher or lower then the previous days close, there is a GAP between those two prices. When the price is going back to a close, that is a GAP close.

B: There can be a GAP between the High and Low of 2 days.
That GAP you can see very clear on a Daily TPO chart.
In general that GAP has to be filled/traded as well.
I call this a GAP fill.

C: There can be GAPS or POCKETS on the TPO charts.
During a fast up/down move the TPO chart shows a single line of TPO blocks. Light Volume traded zone.
These Pockets/Gaps have to be "filled" or traded again later.
Sometimes the same day/sometimes several days later.
I call this a POCKET fill or TPO GAP fill or SINGLES to cover

Maybe confusing, but when you watch the TPO charts a few weeks you will recognize all very easy.
