I don't get why you guys bought AJ if there were high impact news pending for the AUD. Sure, now is running great but it had bigger risk.

Let me add one more point, SMA 5, 1+ settings can make mislead you like RSI if you analyze charts later since SMA line adjust itself after new candles....please go ahead and backtest and share the result if you still think SMA 5,2 or 3 are better than SMA 5,0

We like to follow charts, indicators and strategy. Most of time red news fuel market in same direction...we took position yesterday and made profit from first position.
SL for Second position is at breakeven so nothing to lose now.

You could still come out on top with this trade but its clearly in a range and not a high probability trade. Look left at the first big swing, the next few swings are all within the high and low of that swing. This strategy works best under trending conditions. When ranging the numbers are lower but still effective if you can catch the right swing.

your system of the cross of sma5/0 and sma5/5 will end up in tears or at best not so profitable imo.
the 5.0sma is just a heads-up for me to have a good look and usually you have 1 large or 2 candles in a new direction.
pure price action - that`s when the swing traders start piling in.
that cross can happen anywhere on your chart and if the price action is in our favour, your trade will be far too late.
yes, you might avoid some of our bad trades just as we will avoid some of your bad trades.
please let us know how you get on after some 100 trades with your cross.

Hi Bk8,
i still use SMA(5,0) and BB just to make sure i am not at the top or bottom band. So far I have been profitable althought not extremely great but feel so stress free and repeatable. Trading clean chart is great.

Your strategy of sma 5,0 and BB also work good on gold and oil
I'll use this system forever.
Thankyou very much ,your strategy is tension free if we use proper money management.
We gain pips for 3 weeks and if we loss one week it doesn't effect our equity. The main thing is proper money management.

I think it's stopped out

I think any opposite signal should be automatic stopped out for this system

And the 5 SMA doesn't look right, maybe you have different candles from most of Forex market
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.
