There is no cult. There is no religion. There is simply a desire to maintain the system in its original state which is valid, especially when this comes from the person who started the thread to begin with. Let's not be dramatic. Version control is important. Also important is adding improvements but not randomly. Both sides are correct. Common guyz , its a forum on trading a strategy . You shud be open to discus pros & cons.
Otherwise where is the aspect of LEARNING ??

It is unfortunate to see that a genuine contribution to the thread by genuine...
The problem I see is you and other people suggesting different things to better this strategy is that you don't understand that this thread started in order to test the system for sometime. After this, all your inputs for optimization will be collected, reviewed and received/rejected based on the pure and proven statistics made available by you and any others.
Please note that I for one enjoy the suggestions and try to use them on different accounts plus using the main system as it is on another account so that I can really see the advantages/disadvantages over time and present here at the time it is called for (6 months time) BUT bombarding the thread with all manner of suggestions leads to great confusion to every body, it populates the thread pages so fast that you begin to feel lost and at the same time we lose focus of the main strategy.
In summary, based on the idea behind this system and thread, all improvement suggestions right now are simply "Good and Great Intentions BUT at the very Wrong Time"
Lets test it as it is for the said period of time to prove it or otherwise, then all other suggestions which by then must have had concrete proof with statistical data would be welcome.
See it this way: Person A brings a suggestion, B also brings, C also brings, etc till infinity and everyone sees their input as valid and we accept them, Do you think we would still be trading this same system by then? This is exactly how all threads DIE!!! Note also that of all these suggestions, none have come with statistical data as proof, how then do we just accept them? That is why the OP, BK8 suggested everyone with enhancement ideas of any kind to bring them after 6 months of testing this basic system but with PROOF of their ADVANTAGE.
Please Understand that no one is shutting you or others up but they just saying in other words wait till enhancement time comes ten we ll all party together to build that razor sharp system that will slice huge chunks of PIPS out of this beautiful and profitable venture.
