{quote} Thanks for your explanation Joseph but i am sorry to say you are wrong, but never mind that the whole point is it doesn't matter, we do not need the weekly timeframe to trade the BK8 system, i put the stoch on there just to clarify, and i think Yonnie was basically trying to make the same point on his post all the best
Ignored

Joseph is wrong, and MrRijk lost on this trade 120 pips if one trade, or 250 if he has 2 open trades.. are you seriosly?
mate, trading..first of all is about to protect your account, your poket, and after all to make some extra money.
now, some traders just thrown out a lot of pips, and money from account, coz the folow basic system...
wroong.
wrong is the sl...
wrong is tp.
but..if tp and sl, its ok for you, and with this caind of lose and wins you will survive for sure in a long period.. then you, me and other must to stop to speack about weekly charts, the traders who lose must close the eyes on this sl, coz for sure they know that all this pips will come back.

Yep I am profitable for last 8 months. If you read post#1, I clearly meantioned that you may have few bad days but you will be profitable end of the month for sure.

So far I do not think we had 3-4 bad days in last 2 months.

{quote} I don't think Oddbjorg has committed any trading crime for closing part of her trade at 15pips. If the stake used is fairly sizeable, 15pips can translate to a reasonable amount to put in the bank, while the second position is allowed to run. It will also reduce the potential exposure. Besides, even, the chief himself, BK8 had 20pips as his TP1 in one of his trades(N/CAD-post4809). His 2nd position was closed at a substantial loss of 105pips! He would have ended up with nothing, and even with a greater loss, had he not banked partial profit...

Absolutely agree

It's a trader's personal decision about TP, and not for others to carp on about AND waste thread time by doing so.

Hmm... What is the rationale behind going short, when it is a clear long entry two candles before your entry candle?

Market is upside down, directionless as most of traders hope to have a better understanding of what lies ahead after speeches from Yellen and other Fed's speakers and Draghi as well. Oil rollercoasters just adds to ambiant nervousness.

And, it's the end of the quarter, and perhaps casting an eye over the Committment of Traders report might be a worthwhile thing to do. Come Sep 30, order may be restored

Bk8,
I, monaghan and several others have been trying to keep the thread clean of the multitude of distractions to your daily system.
for your system there is no need for weekly TF discussion, the golden line, 200 sma, TDI indicator, trend etc etc.
I did so in the understanding that you did not want these discussions.
however, if you dont mind them in here, I will step down from being an enforcer
over to you Bk8.

Bk8 never set TP at 20 pips, try to understand: Part of the TP rules state that if by the end of the day (candle close) and TP1 has not been hit then close the trade if in any kind of profit. This doesn't mean that the original TP for position 1 was set to 20pips. Which also tallies with the idea of minimizing risk, exposure, and loss.

TP1 is Originally equal to SL in pips, but by the close of that days candle if it the TP1 has not hit then close the trade so far it is in profit. At this point it can even be Breakeven, does it then mean that the TP was set at BE? No. The 1st position stays till the next day if and only if it is still in loss.

Best Regards
