I'm with pepperstone something about 2 years and I have never had any problem. Good spreads, no cheating, 0 stop hunting, acceptable slippage 0-0,5pip usually on stop loss orders, no freezing platform, so it's very good choice To improve conditions open account through rebate site.

Actually, there are armies of traders that complain about their brokers Usually it's bullshit. They trade with bad brokers, however these brokers even don't need to cheat them, because they don't know how market works and trade really bad. They trade with best brokers on market and still complaining. For example open position 2 minutes before NFP with 10 pips stop loss and complain about stop hunting or slippage... Nevertheless, most of broker will try to scam you if you earn good money.

EDIT: Great example how to make terrible trade and complain that broker cheated you, turned up less than 15 minutes ago on USDCAD. Anybody could open position just before CPI news, set 10 pips stop loss and complain about 50 pips slippage, but there's nothing to complain, because market made 60 pips in one tick

Yep, you are most probably correct that your bank provides you the leverage and they probably act as a MM and hedge their orders with other liquidity providers. I wouldnīt rather say that a bank itself or banking license is a guarantee of fair approach and honesty. Take a look at Saxo what they did and how many traders they scammed - at first view Danish Bank should be one of the most trustworthy - but Saxo is far from that. I trust that your bank is a good and a fair one, but still I would definitely be pretty careful. I donīt have any experience with Exante - they are probably based in Russia, with Malta license, and they tried to leave a fake review at FPA from their offices. But still they can be a good broker - does anyone have any experience with them?

Pepperstone is little bit mixed, generally, itīs a good broker without any scamming offers. Usually, traders complain only about their execution during news trading, but during news trading you will get worse execution with every broker. I personally donīt have any experience with them, but I did some further research and it looks like they removed all orders of a trader who was on the right side during SNB EUR/CHF move.. Just google it, but I donīt know how much truth is on this and if it has been resolved or not.

Thanks for your post. How long have you been trading with them? Do you trade on a real account? Also what do you mean by optimum execution of orders? Like you get both positive and negative slippage and in the long-term the slippage you get is neutral?

I have to fully agree with this - news trading is a story on its own. But still, there are plenty of profits to be made outside of news. And Iīve experienced and saw a lot of brokers who executed just every single order terribly and there was not any news coming to the market, and the volatility was just average. So the fact is that brokers could just let traders loose everything by their bad decisions, but the other fact is that there are a lot of scamming brokers out there. And Iīve seen fair retail brokers paying really nice withdrawals without any excuses and issues.

I raised this issue with pepper stone and they make it liquidity pool issue every-time and ping problem, regarding taking screenshot , Mt4 do NOT load that time and keep refreshing and I provided motion pictures (video shoot out) instead of screen shot.

The reality of forex is that if you trade with MT4, you will be experiencing issues. Thats it.

Metatrader has been designed for the broker to control or manipulate price with a dealing desk, even at its purest form.

So daytrading or scalping and ESPECIALLY automated trading with MT4 is simply a waste of time imo.

Thats why I do at minimum swing trading.

This was the case 10 years ago, and this is also the case now, but they don't wanna hear you. Just wait a little, and somebody come and will say, 'yes, but there are so many indicators on that platform', or 'everybody use that', or 'they will scam you anyway'.
