Morning All please be aware that next week is month end, a lot of the pairs we trade are heading for Monthly Support or Resistance the black lines, have a great week, also Oanda MT4 users, if you want to change from GMT -5 which I trade or to the bosses GMT + 2 just click on the Login Box bottom right hand corner, just trying to help {image}

Hi Monaghan,

I am using Alpari UK and the new Daily candle is opened at 3AM Indian time which is not the perfect time to trade. Did you mean by selecting GMT +2 option, I can get a different timing (see the screenshot) for the Daily open candle? I tried to use different option from the list, they all open at the same time.

Hello everybody! What do you think about the setup eur/jpy for the next week? {image}
Ignored
EUR/JPY is currently in retracement off lower Bollinger band support on a Daily window. But the Hourly SMA-7 window shows it is still strongly short. Stay short a little longer, if you are already in a short position, until Hourly SMA-7 flips above 113.472. Simply order an opposite (long) trade with double the current volume to trigger whenever SMA-7 hits 113.475 Thus your EUR/JPY position will switch from short to long at that point with minimal entry deficit. Entering a trade or pivoting from short to long before EUR/JPY flips to 113.475 will cost about (113.48-113.39)x100 or 9 pips, which is equal to $(1.139 x 9) or $10.25 How to determine a safe pivot point like 113.47 calls for both experience and analytic expertise. To get a sense of how SMA-7 moves, go to m1 window and just keep watching the up and down movement for a while to see what happens when it flips above or below certain points. The upper or lower limit tends to be a mirror image of the current position following any pivotal flip.

Midnight GMT+2 is when the new candle forms. For me it's not too bad because in the UK i don't have to stay up as late (10pm)

[quote=Singha83;9156195]{quote} No, put that "templete name" tpl file into directly into the MLQ4 folder next to all the other folders (it will be the only non folder). This makes it that when all the charts populate, it will show them all with a 5 SMA line.[/quote
Putting the template file directly into the MQL4 folder did not make any difference. I even put in the template name into the inputs bar of the script window, but they still come open just as a plain default chart.

Looking forward to BKs analysis, but if you look left, yesterday's candle is within range of several candles from last week. Looks a little flat to me, but we'll wait for BK.
