So , after this week , I am +109 , "only" ,because I closed few of my positions on BE on Monday/Tueasday ( don't remember )..this is a lesson for me, to let it run and to not set a BE after only 1 candle..now I'm in 2 x E/N +30, and A/U - 25 . I wanted to take G/A ,but there wasn't enought room on my account to take 3 positions X 2 ,at once

@Bk8: wow, I`m on your list as wellI like the way you summarize the past weeks immensely. nobody can argue with that kind of result week after week. 1. it silences those amateurs, who always want to change something 2. it encourages serious new traders to place the right stop loss and let the winners run. good on ya Bk8 and I am proud of you

Yes if you look at overall trend.. we are with trend but you never know. Since we are winning so its worth to let it run as long as we are green.
Deep breath - dipping in again. Been knocking around this place for some time now....thought I could get a handle on a few 1M systems and after brain melting, or simply not being able to "see it" eventually enjoyed a little success with breakout after dealing with an experienced "young at heart" friend (you know who you are if you read this....thankyou again for your time) but there was one aspect of that strategy (Martingale) that made me nervous therefore I've been on the lookout again.
So what has been my main issue all these years.....well I could almost talk myself out of every trade opportunity....let's take a few examples from Fridays close (FXPro) and demonstrate :-)
G/U - the clear signal is 6 candles earlier, late entry at 3 candles earlier however the latest candle has punched through support to the left therefore could go all the way down to the 13th Aug support level, but then we're sitting just through the lower BB boundary, therefore not an ideal sell. So do I sell because it'll go on down to the next support, or stay out because it is just about to bounce back up.
G/C has a lovely setup as per the basic rules, it's not near a BB line, there's no lower wick so very strong down move, yet it is just above an area that has acted as support immediately to the left, and resistance just before that, therefore this is not a good sell trade.
E/N - Again, a lovely setup as per the rules BUT what I see is that we're still stuck in the range of that large bull bar 3 to the left and as there is a hint of resistance below at the low of that bull bar then price could just as easily bounce up from that as punch through it
So I've convinced myself not to take any of these trades. If I had to take them, in rank order it'd probably be the E/N, followed by the G/U with G/C being the least favourite.....but if I was to follow what some of the old hands say "I look for reasons not to trade", I'm kind-of thinking I can't do anything on the above.
So - do I need to loosen off a bit :-) ??
