Hi Dean, I think you have a point there, Especially When market goes sideway its easy to see and avoid Sidway trade.

Bk8, was curious, in your research of SMA5 strategy, did you ever consider using RSI5 as as filter?

Let me repeat again, we need something additional if we have any issue.. most of guys are suggesting to fix what? I have not seen even single issue, please help me to understand.

MrRijk- just to clarify, we can easily figure out sideways without adding anything... but since dean is associated to this thread from day 1. to respect his thoughts I am also going to test again for next few days.

Please note, my idea of both sma's is not related to spotting sideways markets or in any way a filter for sideways markets.

what i don't understand is all those suggestions to try and improve a system that is already profitable, this is a common theme right throughout FF, why change something when it already works, do people expect you to do all the legwork for them? as you stated previously test it yourself and then present it if its working and improving the system to the forum, the results as it is are outstanding, i hope we don't loose you due to the ignorance of others
