Hi Eagle Trader,

In my opinion, all these trades qualify. I guess it all depends on your risk management and where you want to place your SL.

Most of them do look like a "bounce" set-up and, yes, that one on the previous page does look like a proper constrainment.

I know I had to stay away from trading but today I've decided to try again (I am back to demo as I blew account )
Entry was at the touch of 10 EMA, seems like move up after price constrainment, and first touch - was it actually 1st touch? 10 ema was getting steep as well.

I found out things get A LOT easier when we let the 35/50 lead the way, I mean, simple waiting for a good angle on them before considering the first 10 touch or bounce. Just my 2cents

Hello Friends, I have a question to the more experienced dancers (looking at you Kostas ).
Lately I've missed a bunch clear signals because they're were minutes prior to important news releases.How do you deal with signals around news releases? In the original manual Clay suggested that he would ignore the news believing it was already factored in. Is this a valid approach?

Hi Awaken, Kostas mentioned about trading during news some time ago - in the post 5192, however it's been several years since that time, so I wonder, if he still uses the same approach
Everything is possible
3 trades today, all winning, 40 pips in total profit with 6% profit - sl set at 20 pips at 3% risk.
Trade one: gave me 28 pips - entry due to price constrainment below round number and below 10 ema
tp set at 30 pips as on 4h I've seen triangle forming with height of 40 pips, so just in case I've set it at 30 and gone to take lil one to school. tp hit before I got back home.

Second trade was counter trade as I've seen price obeys 113.50, touches and moves north. Only 8 pips profit but price has been hesitating.

And last trade which could've turn bad so only 3 pips profit (still 0.5% - my bank gives it per year ;-))
my mistake was that 10 ema was getting flat but I still did enter.

I noticed that I do better after reading manual and refreshing things. I will be doing it every second week.
Clay wrote that you can change 100 into 1 mln within year, I did check it in excel and it is possible within 200 days if you average between 4 and 5% a day.
I'll stick to demo till end of year and will go live again 2nd January 2017.
I don't even want million, as long as I can earn to pay off my mortgage - 120k

.. don t get me wrong.. I really don t wanna tell you how you should trade..
But really all my buddies who make more winners than losers have more " try to make the best trade by system " in their mind than;
"try to get rich by an excel calculation !"

Every year in the beginning I fix my target until years end.. and its : double the account ..

The last years I did..
this year Im around -3% .. a rollercoaster up 5% down 5% . no Idea why .....

But my focus is not " getting rich" ...
My focus is ; What can I do with money.. german banks offer are around 1,5 to 3,5% gain p.A..
In this case Im just much better than they could do for me.

Did you ever think about " just try to make nice trades " .... without thinking about the money/ results?

I saw your thread.. and you made stable a bunch of profits .... my opinion is you are a good trader, know your skills.. just pressure makes you gambling.
With less thinking about the gains on a Excel calculation , your trading could be phenomenal ...... ..

It's a good approach when you have money.
What I have is 2.5k of emergency fund, which I try to build up to 7k, but I cannot and there are always expenses - broken car, broken boiler, road tax to pay always something. Emergency fund is something you don't spend untill really necessary - losing job, burned house etc. If I had spare money I'd take same approach, I can do 1% a week just trading 1d charts.

Excel helps me calculate what I can theoretically expect. I don't set yearly targets, as I try to take what market gives, but based on long term observations excel tells me what more or less I can expect If I trade right.

I feel your pain. Sometimes it just seems like the method don't work. But then I come back to manual and I see I did mistake somewhere

Why trading then? Besides I don't trade to be rich. I trade to achieve financial safety. For me it is debt free living and possibility to help my parents plus uni fund for my son and house for him for the future. But primary target is paying off mortgage as with it it will be easier to achieve rest even if I stop trading.

2 positions opened for same trade (green circles). Seems like 114 is a good resistance point, with 200 ema there, plus 4h looks bearish.
3.8% profit today with 10% profit this week. Pips? 13+11 so 24 in total. Really flat market and I stayed in trades longer than I wanted.

Yes,, But I had less than 2,5k !

Last year Ive blown off my company ..
Needed all my hard earned money and trading money for paying bills and closed my company..

.. But I never give up .... after 2 weeks I had a new job ( Im a leader of a large refugee camp now , very bad payed)-- and
I restarted with zero money!
From my first 2 salaries I payed the first 1k for opening a new account with my broker ..
... month by month I collect my money and put it to my trading account.... and last week I traded my first full lot again ^^

... just the time is very rare to trade .... with a 50-60 hours week .. theres almost no screentime ..

.. 1-2 years and my account is large enough to work less and take more hours with trading..
Both , job and screentime isn t possible..
But I have time.. charts and markets will be there then as well

Hi guys,

Anyone test this strategy on longer timeframes when your primary chart is M30 or H1 or H4 or even D1?

Are you profitable with this strategy now because this strategy was created a couple years ago? Of course I'm talking about live accounts not demo.

I blew my account again and I feel like a sh... :/ Two years of losses almost 80% of my all funds. This year was great except last 2 months...

I'm thinking about all strategies I've been thru. Now I must do a longer break (maybe 3-6 months), refresh my mind, calm down and choose strategy which I must learn perfectly on tester and demo account and when its profitable (not only strategy but me too) then I get back to live account.

are you profitable with this strategy now because strategy was create a couple years ago? Of course I'm talking about live accounts not demo.
