his "money management" strategy is what makes or breaks his approach , he changes his lot size based on gains/losses

however what type of MM he is using ie.. negative/positive progression or a mix of thereof , iam not sure

but he tries to follow "trend " whatever he uses to deterimine a trend , in collaboration with a MM which is based on "gamblers fallacy"

there are many forms of progressions

most famous one beeing Martingale .. or D`alambert , labouchere, or even more obscure ones like the 6 point divisor..

however its all from "betting" ... so yea take that for granted...

iam just seeing that if the losses pile up , so does the gains.. ie it is getting extreme.. hence the huge volatility spike in his returns, whre he is barely breaking even..

to make it short..

its not the entries..

but his MM

basically.. "gambling"

cool to watch for sure

just be aware that its not suistanable .. and should only be considered for fun.. and some

Every trade ever taken is a gamble else you wouldn't place stops. Stops are the negative expressions of saying 'what if I am wrong'

I'll bet you have been stopped out a few times therefore you gambled and lost.

What we see here is Bags going for the direction he feels is the correct one and backing that with the prior profits he has made. He is therefore reinvesting his profits for higher returns.

I put it you you then that you are the gambler and Bags is the trader. As for it being sustainable that is just you wishfully thinking it so.

Lol not so complex... he's simply pyramiding. Sometimes he's pyramiding with antimartingale, sometimes not.

Is it gambling, or is the profitability due to it? Is there something to learn here?

Have you calculated the Kelly ratio?

With same entries, and with traditional <2% a trade, where would the account balance have been now starting with 1000 Euros?
Homeruns and capital preservation.
