I'll answer as the US team are probs in bed.

Check that your SMA is 5 with 0 (zero) shift. You may be using SMA 5,3 that would look different, cheers M

My chart is also different from bk8. red Sma is 5,0

Your trading day may start at a different time making your bars look slightly different so making your SMA line look a little different. Same rules apply though.

Hi
I was wondering if by looking at the sheer size of the price bar that cross over SMA would be a good measure to know the momentum to avoid a side way market.
Just my thought as I don't see how you could prevent a ranging market except to see what is coming during the crossover.
In any case, I think you have a good strategy there but I have yet to try in on my live account.
