Thank you for this strategy and all the time you have put in to helping others. I have been following you from the sidelines. I have been trading it on a small live account now for a few weeks and it is working very well for me. Thanks again.

Hi Bk8, just found the thread and read the first 33 pages...
I love the simplicity of the system - I've been trying something similar myself with the 15 min timeframe.
Just a question: how do you deal with the big news, like Rate of interest, GDP etc? I'm always afraid that the spikes generated in those 5 mins would hit my SL (and then take the right direction!)

Take this for example. It's a good setup, but high volatility is expected for tomorrow afternoon (here in London) - ECB rate announcement...

any comments?

@ Bk8: would you close CH/J and U/J seeing the large retracement?
for the moment I have the SL behind the previous candle + 15 pips.

bought E/U yesterday and 1st day is against my position.
tightened the stop from 1.1125 to 1.1218, the low of the previous candle minus 10 pips.
how do you handle this situation?

Read the thread, how on earth would you trade this if you have not read it?

Closed UJ and CHJ from yesterday for small 27 pip profits. Didn't like the long tails and price bounce on them.

EJ and EU still open.

Sold GJ, GCH. Bought EG today. Watch for Euro red news tomorrow. Actually GJ is a sell limit at 135.85.

I read some of his posts when I was clueless about forex back in 2015..he was amazing, @Emmanuel is doing great work on his thread and still active due to him.

Its better to ignore some specific paris when big RED news expected, but if you can not control then just spend little amount for fun.
As @yonnie mentioned, this setup looks very tempting

I took a gamble

I've let my EA manage the demo account. Only filtering out pairs with large spreads.

So far we did not shortlisted paris, some traders had success with gold too so you can try anywhere..as long as spread is manageable and previous charts confirm the probability of success more than 80%.
