Yes I agree. There are some good levels all the way down. Hard to pick one over another, just to got take them all and trust that one's efforts will be rewarded in the end.

Funny one, it failed to complete a 1.618 on the blow through too. Well perhaps it's saving it for later. I'll be waiting for a good move North before I try shorting again now anyway.

Doing a little Kiwi hunting, someone ask Squawk if that is legal. Remove the wick, 886 is same that would be bat.

Hes a great player Ben. Hard team to beat those AB. Gave us a clean sweep in the Bledisloe cup recently. But then again so did England when they visited.

Referring to the blogger: Seriously! Come on Jeffery. AN shouldn't drop below parity but yet maybe we will see H&S on NC go to 107. So that should also value AC at 107 back to where we were at the peak of the mining boom. Sure lets see 10 buck oil and no rate cuts from RBNZ. Why don't we just say NU will got to parity. Hell its just over a couple of thousand pips away, its not that much more than 107 for the NC.

Plainly the RBNZ is not in a Rate increase cycle, but decreasing and is currently over valued for the yield. So would be different if it was getting price for spread and OCR was being raised by RBNZ. The more the Kiwi goes up the more the RBNZ will be forced to drop the OCR if the Fed doesn't close the gap. The NZ economy may currently being doing well but the boom can only feed for so long in an economy like NZ where dairy and tourism make up the majority chunk of the GDP with yield also being a big export. The last few years you have had the Property Boom which is now peaking with highest value to earnings in the world and should show signs of easing when the investor rules get applied end of this month. Looking at the big picture the current extended value is not in the economy but in the spread so need focus on that. And just like the treasuries there comes a time where the measurement of risk out ways the remaining yield and where that number is? 50 point change? 35?. When that situation starts to change there is a big gap to fill on all the N crosses.

Lets face it long term positioning and change of trend is never that obvious and always frustrating but needs to be positioned when signs of change are on the way but is not yet reflected in price and yet to re-balance. The challenge will be in holding the position to the upside.

Hopefully when the RBNZ are forced to cut again they won't waste it by letting the market know its going to happen and then talking further cuts down. Maybe they could learn a thing or two from Yellen. Its not in the cut but the verbiage. Really they need a 50 cut to bring the spread between the Aussie and the Kiwi to zero. They should have really cut 50 last time.

Really just ranting this to myself so take no notice. its like when I'm yelling at the TV.
