I have EURGBP +119, NZDJPY +110, EURJPY +102, GBPJPY +329, AUDJPY +76. In late on all of these and all are still open....

yeah, 2 losses - there was red news for CAD, but nothing life-changing - but there you go, better to be on the side line next time around.
in fact didn`t buy G/U and got out of N/U at a small profit because of the red news in USD.

Does anyone here use Trailing stop to lock in some profit in case price goes awry?

CAD seems to be the big winner from last Friday.
apart from A/C (sideways) and G/C (did not cross SMA) its all go against the other currencies.
Bk8: will you take C/CH, E/C, N/C and U/C?

why dont you give an overview of your trade (trades you are holding, trades you are planning to take after candle forms, stop loss and take profit) everyday so that newbies like me can learn and follow closely?

And this is the point, that i never would act like a signal service. People must read and understand the basics and make trades based on it.
I have yesterday complete write down my scalping system and was short before to post it in public, but i closed the field.

If it is not possible to manage a thread, to delete (can we make this like EA?)... etc i waste not my time to say this over and over again, to see my work end up in a disaster.

On occasions I use trailing stop but I think they are a good way to lose gains. You are locking yourself into a system that always sells you out below where the market reached. My main use for them is to lock in part of a trade after my first profit target has been reached and most of my position closed. once this point has been reached a second profit target is really some guesswork as the market is solidly moving in your direction so a trailing stop along with a high but realistic profit target may be a sound move but still limits profits.

Thank you for posting such a simple system to follow. Looking at my charts, this appears to viable with pretty much everything as long as it is moving, even exotics. Based on your rules, looks like there were plenty of opportunities to enter at the end of the day Friday after the poor NFP numbers and the rise in oil prices. I love the idea of a simple, set and forget style of trading so that I don't have to sit in front of my computer all day.

yeah but not too tight. you have to let the winners run, that's what'll give you an edge. SMA 5 alone won't be profitable.

Yes yonnie, except C/CH, I will take all 3 i.e. E/C, N/C and U/C. C/CH seems 50:50 to me.

E/NzD is too late
E/AUD is sideways.... if there are no more options we would have thought to take risk
E/CHF looks good
