My eyes were a bit teary, I went to enter bigger then usual because I was certain that a move would exist in either direction, just damn, 20 pips in a measure of milliseconds. and also, that downward move in the 59th minute, some insider trading or soemthing wth happenned there.

And now a full retrace,, wth!!

Exactly the same that happened to me.

In another thread I was asking about this:

Haven't you noticed that most of NFP announcements, have always a 60 pips move, and later almost always retraces?

Am I right or am I wrong?

Anyone has any charts to prove it or deny this?

Powertrade, do you have free time? in the next few weeks leading up to the next NFP? As I want to compile data on the whiplash before an event on different currencies before various major news announcements, in order to find the lowest whiplash per news event per currency, and enter on that currency. Probs about 10 hours work.

As for me personally, in news trading, enemy no.1 is and has always been the whiplash, and different currencies respond differently

you can only trade that way if your lot size is very low, can't imagine trading big lot size 2 sessions. And of course in news trading its al about in and out
6 traders viewing now
