I've also added a poll, as I was thinking it might be good to just all of us focus on the same end date.

So, either we keep the start dates individual, or we all try and end the year profitable.

Of course, if we focus on ending this year profitable, there will need to be a cut off date for participants. Any "late comers" would need to wait to enter at start of next year....

I've added my vote. I think we focus on this year.

Then come January, we all change our start dates to Jan 1st 2017, and focus on next year.

I think this also makes sense, since typically ending the calendar year profitable is the goal of most traders, so each year would be a new start with the goal to end the year profitable...

Yea, I think I'm leaning towards just focusing on end of calendar year, then start over next year. This way we are all on the same page, and it will be simpler, and we won't need to name our TEs with a start date, since we'll all be focused on the same target end date.

I'll post the new rules by end of week, with the deadline to enter for this year, unless i get a bunch of votes to keep it the same, with valid reasons not to change it...

Edit:
You can learn from My mistake Guys. Back to Basic. Sustainable and live the another Day.
- Load to much. Proper position with proper size a day. 1 or 2 position. Overtrading
- Without proper SL coz too sure you was right. The Markets does not care that.
- Choose method that fit Ur best style. No need to force Ur self to a complete ones. We are not complete. We are not perfect. No ones!
- There is no science getting quick rich unless You are pure Luck or Gifted.

. Ah. More more more time need to go to profit area with this capital left.

The problem in my case is I use TE for control my month progress since last account blow up. If we restart at start of year I lose the reference. I understand why you want use same date but really this is not a race between us. At least for me

lol over leveraging is a disease. The one time i stray away from my money management, i drop from 43% to 20%...... still green though. New month.

Yeah, happened to me yesterday with only one overloaded trade and good 10% vanished , if not more. But we are human, make mistakes from time to time. Mkt punishes us so we learn a lesson.
I really hate overleveraging, becouse you are glued to screen if you do this. Still, I do this once in 3 weeks .
So now I am done for few weeks, as is Roels I hope.

It might have something to do with checking TE often and wrong focus during trading. I always compare with another account, because I trade 2 live. There I had no such problems last month so obviously emotions take over more times if you are too much focused on % and less on charts .

I had a plan to hedge, but My position would be too big, and that fast move beyond imagination.

Yeah You are right Sister. Too much experiment that We done over past week is not good unless We do that on Demo.

Exactly. This was the problem with my hedge AC and AU longs yesterday after GA late entry too loaded fiasco.
For HFS initial EPs must not be overtraded and late in the LS entries, because then it is a bitch to recover with any strategy.
You must settle for half or so (if such mistakes as too big/late entry), I at least had to because GA already has bigger ranges than majors and AS couldn't bring me complete recovery.

BTW, great PIC about history trades/sizes. Yes, even closed greens are a bit too much together imo. Main target should be 1% per day, this is still way over 100% yearly. General rules, that don't fit all traders, but can lead to more peaceful and constant trading results.

EDIT:
Closed my HTF F****** trade GChf. If I will be able to hold back, no more HTF trades on this account. If wrong, DD is too much and causes too much emotions (without TE it doesn't stand out so much..)

But We have now the proven "bad mistake" and bad "money management" here. That is the good thing. 1 or 2 % per position is max. And no more than 1 or 2 position per day. Small trading account made Us has no honor to general rules like "Discipline". We spend $100, or $1000, try to make big big % like 20% a day, and become "bad habit" all the time.

Yes, but you should not fool yourself. Not many can obey all the rules all the time. One mistake from time to time is ok if the recovery plan is made while trade is going against you. Of course, the easiest thing is obeying the rules, but we should be completly without emotions then. I know I am not and repeat a mistake from time to time.
The problem is if mistakes are too often, so they should be reduced with expirience. Nothing else helpes here.
