You must post a request note in this thread to be included in the list and be a part of this challenge.

Rules of the thread:

Trades have to be live, not demo.

This not a strategy or indicator sharing thread. If you are still looking for a strategy, then PM someone, or go to another thread to find what you are looking for. This thread is not to promote any trading methods. It is simply an interactive trading thread for experienced traders who are trying to get past that 1 year profitable milestone.

Please note, you can only post on this thread if:

1) you have a live account TE uploaded or myfxbook and linked to your post as a signature
2) you open/close at least a few trades every month
3) you are respectful to others here (Profanity = disrespect, don't use it here when posting).
4) you agree to be a part of this challenge

Primary goal of the thread summed up: Recognizing individual achievements, promoting transparency, honesty, patience, humility, respect, and discipline. The goal will be to encourage and recognize as many traders as possible to reach the 1 year milestone

Looks like you have already 1 year profitability. Congrats!

Of course, I think it is a good thing for anyone who already has achieved the 1 year profitable milestone to contribute.

You're welcome to post, but if you want to start another 1 year profitability venture with everyone else, you'd need to start a new account. So, you are welcome to post, but you'll not qualify for being part of the challenge, unless you start a new account as per challenge rules...

minimum account balance, I don't think it necessary. I was going to start with 1k, but I thought to myself, why should I do that? I can just build 500 into 1k in a week or 2 (at least that's the goal)..

but I like your myfxbook idea...
well, I'm done trading for the day. Spent about 1 hour in front of the charts, which is ideal for me, and less than the 2-3 hour limit I have before I start losing my emotional stability to trade...

I don't think any one time frame is the BEST. I don't think intra-day is better than swing trading. I also think the most important aspect of trading is discipline, patience, and money management. Controlling risk is a big factor as well. This may go without saying, but when I hear traders say that they "double" their risk after a loss, this a very bad idea, imo, and just a matter of time before they blow their account...

Pro traders do the opposite. If they have a string of losses, they decrease their risk until they recover.

on to one of my trade ideas, mid-long term...

Gold - looking to get long at around 1300, and 1272. I may skip the 1300, depending on when it gets there and how much equity I have... But if it touches 1272, I'll probably go for it and target 800+ pips.

btw, I did have a short trade on gold, but I mismanaged my risk and had to let it go. I'd look to short again, but I figure safer to just wait for the long opportunity in line with current trend...
I look for gold to present a really good buy around 1270-75ish come August. Then look for a really good bull run, possible through end of year...

Right now, I think gold is the only thing I'll trade mid-long term... For intra-day, UJ is my choice... Keeping it simple...

i'v been trying timeframe m15,m30,h1, and for the last, i'm using H1 as suitable with my trading style and methode ( sorry for my english

To me any person with a positive return after a year is a winner.
