hi all,

stumbled upon this thread about a week ago and i am very excited to learn all there is to TMS strategy. I am an absolute noob but with consistent work comes great results. So much to learn. Will be posting my demo charts soon after i have practiced all the rules of TMS and hopefully get answers where i don't understand.

Until then, later guys. keep the posts coming.

You should have the indicator and then he will appear and then I have to say that Emmanuel is quite right. You have to go to read and study all about it. I will have printed hundreds and hundreds of pages in addition to observing the graphs.

An example again..yesterday made an analysis on the DAX, where I located the turning points where the price could change scenario. Look at today's chart and compare it. So I reiterate the importance of the points without the help of miraculous indicators that will tell you only what you already are seeing. It is only assistive to your work

I usually use 1: 1 and especially 1: 2. But in this case it was almost 1:1. For safety I wanted to close on one level (weekly pivot). I feared that it could go back. Unfortunately the target corresponded with that relationship and I did not want to lose this good trade. See where the price now is bouncing. The pivot to 1.476127. My target and I have reached two hours ago.

how to be safe when there are stop hunts?

well I see some traders trade without stop loss.
these type of traders prefer to risk margin call instead.
they trade with small account deposits which are just a small fraction of what their annual income.
they suffered many margin calls which they are prepared for that. it is a gambling sort of attitude.
gambling is a game of chance which relies on luck and also requires some skills.
profitable trading over long term requires a lot of different skills and knowing about entries and exits.

Hi Kigwaya,

I am sure in one week you were not able to cover all 70,000 posts and catch up with current discussions. Some experienced traders need only a few days to learn this easy trading method. Newbies to trading will need more time to gain the market knowledge and experience. It all depends on you how much time you can commit to make this into a business which can supplement to your annual income. If you can commit 3 to 5 hour everyday for the next 2 to 3 years, you chance of making it as a trader is good. Don't fall into the trap thinking that you can trade for a living. Keep your day job as your career. Trading this spot forex market is additional income stream.

My recommendation:

Read all of Big E’ posts... 861posts in the Craig Harris Stochastics thread and 463 posts in this TMS thread....and make notes on those training charts he posted. Pay attention whenever he mentioned PA and what you see on his training charts.

when no momentum means price contracts then it will expands again when the time is right to fills as many orders as possible.
these orders can be your stop loss exit orders,
these orders can be your limits orders to get better entry price,

The market is closed for the weekend. It is good time to do some study and visual backtesting.
Look at the Day charts of your trading pairs in your market watchlist.
Look at the Price Action of the Day candles - both the APB/HA and the real price Bar.
Look at the D1 TDI condition.

Do you see the direction of the market? - the PA, the TDI.
What do the D1 candles tell you about the market volatility and where it is safe to place your initial Stop Loss?
Did the direction of the market change this week and after the US data release.
How many D1 candles run after each swing with TDI cross confirmation?
Look at USDCAD D1 chart as an example. How could you have traded this D1 during this week?
