{quote} Hi how are my question is when trading the daily tineframe how do we combine it with the monthly? Can we look for direction of the monthly candle APB and follow that direction whether its red or green
Ignored

Hi,

You read all my old posts, you will notice that I do not look at the APB and TDI on my Weekly and Monthly charts.
I use my Weekly and Monthly charts to do my Big Picture Planning BPP. You need to know if the market is trending or sideways when you want to trade the day charts.
You want to trade the Day chart, it is Position Trading and you must be prepared to hold your trades for many days, usually 2 to 4 weeks.
As an example, tell me which currency pair and I will show you how to do a proper BPP and be prepared for some position trading.

{quote} Hi, You can use any TDI setting you want but make sure you forward test in live market conditions, then you write your own trading rules for setup, entries and exits. I use the Synergy Pro setting - 10,5,34,3,1,7 Synergy_Pro_TDI settings: Post#59,624 regards,

My Synergy Pro indicator only has ability to configure single RSI.
The TDI Red green indicator I have does not have yellow line.

I appreciate that you have probably already done this but can you please share the TDI indicator you are using?
I have searched all attachements on this thread that you have posted but cannot see it.

thank you :-)

{quote} GBPCAD H4 trades update: Added 2 positions and moved the first position to BE. Now set final TP near BRN 1.7200. If the current trend continues and the 52-weeks average trading range of 460pips, will manage this over these 2 days. Should protect all positions when the market reaches the next resistance level. {image} In case you missed my Big Picture Plan, here is the link: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...83#post9094483

Hi emmanuel,

in your reply to me in m30 about noting the candle space for trade, I'm not entirely sure which 20 candles you mean.

im thinking you mean the vertical candles [brown circle]

edit: I think you must mean the brown circle bars after seeing the other example on this page.

nice ... good trade.

do you believe in traders sell when they see Head and Shoulders pattern?

or some traders prefer to sell Pin Bar at 10EMA on D1.

Hi,

I was not referring to any candles in particular. What I meant was we look for empty space of 10 to 20 candles distance to the left of where we see trade setups and when we have the TDI Green,Red and Yellow stack in proper order to help us decide to buy or to sell.
When there are no candle seen to the left of the setups, that means there were not buying or selling activities during those periods, hence no likely support of resistance in the way of your trades.

Hope this is clear now and you can pick the best trade setups, your win rate will improve in the next 100 trades.
Next thing to work on is on your money management strategy and your trade exit strategy, these will determine how much money you will make with every risk R taken for every trade setup.

regards,
