My yesterday post its still relevant today, very slow market waiting for yellen`s statement.

Waiting for the US house market figure.

1.1362 could be the key number for retreacment.

EURUSD aims to revisit 1.1400 ahead of the crucial Jackson Hole Speech of the Fed Chair, indicating chances of the pair's reversal then after.

And that he said a "reversal then after"..

From what the fine trader is saying, I think he means that the speech is to pump some strength in the failing USD in his opinion..

Richmond Manufacturing Index
-11 10 10
Consumer Confidence
-9-8-8 USD
New Home Sales
654K 575K 582K

As you can see It looks more positive to the dollar than to theeuro, however the pair did not react in that way.

Therefore, as somebody says, just do thecnical analysis ? forget the medium impact fundamentals ?

Highest home sales since 2007 and the euro rises without a hitch. Didn't see that one coming.

The market does not always react immediately; sometimes you are faked/fooled to go the other direction or the market ranges for a while before a sudden push to its intended direction. Furthermore, that news is not really a high-impact one imho.

EUR/USD is trading lower in today's session after going steadily up for the last few days. The pair made a high of 1.1355 and then succumbed to a bottom of 1.1310. First support is seen at 1.13, while first resistance is the last high of 1.1355.
