i think the channel of the bullish trend seems too narrow, it makes me think that its gonna go up a bit more and then we ll see a correction

Looking at UJ monthly chart, it seems that it wants to test the cloud. Weekly down channel also allow it and looks like obvious move.

I recall them hinting about something along these lines on Bloomberg this afternoon.. But that is the target in September according to them and that is since the Boj will not be able to act without the permission of the G7 members and the US is busy with elections..

Considering we're overbought on 15M, 30M, 1H and 4H, I'd plan for a somewhat steep correction. Won't, personally, play for 1.120; seems a little too risky. Looking for about 45-50 pips for a retest of weekly R2 at 1.130. May open another short if downward pressure shows signs of continuation.

Though not high-impact news, I'd certainly keep an eye on Germany's PPI numbers in the morning. If it disappoints, 1.12X seems a real possibility. Beyond that, however, even if it does disappoint, weekly stochastic seems to point toward more bullish action. Guess we'll find out before too long. =)

You don't make any sense. Also German PPI is irrelevant even on short term moves and you're basing it for move to 1.20 ?

I'm looking at high 99.5x 99.60 and 99.7 for 101.9x before shorts... unless I see a convincing break south

Just curious, because I'm still fairly new to the game, why would German PPI be irrelevant on the EURUSD, even in the short term? It's the largest economy in the bloc, so I would have figured it certainly would carry weight on the euro's standing.
