Hedged Position Sample:

Here is the challenge, EURUSD start going up accumulating short positions, I did hedged-1 to control DD but just there the price starts going down, down and down.
Hedge-1 was a mistake. if I did not hedged, the position should be a wining by now.
I did start un-hedging closing some short positions, matching with longs and I did end up acomulating too many long positions,
now, I did hedged-2 again, and again the position start going up with my short hedge all the way down.
These are the reasons why I do not like hedging, this position failed on me twice and now the DD is bigger than at the bigining. I am not controlling DD so far, I am making it worse.
Hedging works only if the position continues moving to the same direction, more of the times it stops moving.
as Route206 subjecting, if the news release reverse direction, hedging will be a disaster. There are nothing there that says us the market will continues moving on the same direction after the news released.
I see Route206 recommendation as some king of shifting the position. I am considering that idea, it is kind of pausing, let the price move without damage and then resuming.
Note that if I did not hedge, this position is a wining. symmetry should close it nicely. Well, the cycle is now in jeopardy because the manual intervention and hedging.
Please do not hedge or do manual intervention, EG104 symmetry mode works, just go slow and deposit enough funds.
For this one, I will follow a240 system rules. Let's see if I am able to salvage this cycle.

What we did learned?
hedging/neutralizing is a risky task. This cycle was hedged twice and at each of them the price moves against it making the cycle worst. (follow previews posts)
if we did not hedge, in both cases the EG104 did worked as expected.
Conclusion: Do not hedge/neutralize at least it is extremely necessary. if you do so, deposit more money and let EG104 default values handle it for you.
Note I did add a parameter on EG104 to resume a normal EG104 after neutralization, the parameter is DisableNTZd, if DisableNTZd=false, after neutralization the EG104 will pause trading. If you set DisableNTZd=true, after neutralization the EG104 will continue trading as normal.
