Well, the trade is going well, but force to closed becoz NFP. Closed all My Usd pairs before NFP. Stay safe and watching on the sideline.

Well gold does that to you. Had a same problem with small account. Currency pairs have smallest 0.01 lot but gold smallest is 0.1 and that kills account who has less than 1,5k balance.

Been there, done that.

yea, should have learned my lesson with gold by now. But I have other issues, though as well, I need to work through.

This is a year long target, so I'm not going to get too excited after a few meltdowns during week number 2...

Main problem is my small balance. I meant to add funds to my account to protect my gold positions, but decided not to. Bad decision. I'd still be in my longs, and adding more if I'd done that. But for now, I'm taking a break from gold...

Glad some are doing well! Look forward to as many of us as possible to hit the finish line..

As far as weekly stats or achievements, feel free to post this yourself. If you did well, post it, if not, you can post it and "vent" a little if you want to, on what you'll need to work on...

benaiah, keep an eye on that USD/JPY short.

I really like the area you shorted from, but I'm not sure how much room it has to run. The ~101.50 area should offer good support, and I'm actually going to pull the trigger on a long from there should we hit it today:

yea, makes sense. I was noticing that, but hoping the overall down-trend would give it a bit more momentum. But I would also be tempted to reverse and go long there, so good eye...

I'd be looking to short overall too. But will be looking at higher prices to do it next week. 103 seems very doable... higher could be in the cards too, but just my opinion obv.

UJ just broke up today after a long long time and big boys are running it up. Most probably UJ will stay bullish for a while.

Even if I'm wrong, becouse we can never know despite really nice bullish clues- H1 very nice high activity breakout from consolidation area at the lows,
shorts are definitly not smart idea atm.

I suppose it depends on what time frame you're looking at...

On higher time frames, bulls still need to take out last swing high and attack 103, imo... But I agree, shorter term, opportunities in both directions...

Yesterday I was a bit too early...
Beniah, it is bullish on most of TFs now, but the difference is: the higher you go, the more they are lagging.
Check the daily candle after today's mkt close.

If you are looking to trade a reversal, that's okay. But the overall trend is still down imo. The volatility is very high, though...

We may also be stuck in 99ish-106ish range for a while... I think the fact that the volatility is so high indicates lack of agreement between buyers and sellers, so I'm not quick to call the overall context yet, but if 103 is taken out I'd be more likely to jump on the bull train at some point...

btw, I respect anyone's opinion, if your view is UJ is bullish, that's okay...

bulls did break out of the consolidation today, due to news spike, but I don't trade breakouts against the trend, as long as I'm not allowing my emotions to take over, lol...

If the trend was already up, and the breakout occurred, then I'd jump on board. But since the breakout is against the trend, I'd prefer to wait for any longer term buys...

I love trading, and love to share ideas with all you guys and to have a group that i can consider are my friends.

I want to share something about me.
I have like 5 years in trading or maybe more, im not profitable yet, and the reason is because im not constant, i can only really watch the markets at night, Peru hour, and sometimes i quit trade for some periods of time, because i work all day. I think im pretty close though. But patience is something that i need to manage, and that what im doing. I want to see my account in millions, but the real matter is to see your account adding percentage. That i can do.

I use price action, i try to see opportunities in day charts, and then i try to enter the trade in 4hour and 1 hour charts., Im usign risk reward ratio 1-1,1-2 or more, never less than my profit. im using 6.5% risk per trade.

I think that if we consolidate this group we can achieve good things
