It's not my favorite trade location, however, it's not the pin bar in itself that gives me reason to enter long. It's the last 3 days price respecting the bottom trend/channel (yellow).

And, if you look at the trend line/channels, the inside channel (yellow) is moving up and away from the bottom of the outer channel (blue). I checked H4 and H1, and it looks bullish enough, I went ahead and entered with smaller position. If it pulls back, I'll add to it...

GBPAUD Short:
After many hours of IT issues yesterday I had a "smart" H4 trade. The kind of we would have to look at how not to trade.
30.3 pips average loss.

Looks a bit early to me, but worth watching. NFP can be tricky today, so good accident plan needed.

Yea, was planning to hold through the news but decided I have too many trades open to risk it. Plus going to sleep now, so it will be easier not worrying about it...

Trade Idea

A little bit premature entry before London Open. Early birds trade.
Today ADR is 153, so I put SL at 1/3 ADR = 51 pips
RR SL/TP = 1:4
TP would be 204 pips lower from entry. Historic Low in H4.

I will hold back for UJ on NFP day, but have another trade idea for a heads up..

Could be an early brake in London. Based on your chart, the Bullish MMs has allready starting in Asian Session. I might be wrong.

Sure. But waiting for retrace down to finish and PA to continue up, becouse H4 is nicely angled down, so it is tricky play that needs confirmation.

Nice and safety. The prices could be bounce back on EMA 50, 200, or trendlines.

Note:
- Adjust the target for My USDJPY a bit to 153 pips. So RR change to 1:3

Yeah...but why do you trade it fully loaded than? Sometimes it is good to use at least half sizes on such days if you cannot resist..
And more times than not, we get nice breakouts at such event, and reatraces are perfectly tradable with risk lowered again.
But you'll be ok on the long run, you are pure talent.

Maybe becoz that adrenaline. Today I am trading on HTF, the drawdown is not very good but still have confident on My Trades. Aim a little higher SL/TP ratio at 1:3. Sometimes I remove My SL when the big reds news coming (Mental SL), made me feel better. I am not pure talent. I am not that good. On USDCHF, I let My SL triggered and I think that was a good decision coz MMs still pushing prices north.
