Disliked{quote} Sorry to disappoint you, it does not looke like clean setup up for me..try to ingore sideways..pattern should clearly indicate that new curve can be formed... e.g. see below {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Bk8, Could you please further explain: shaan295 asked you "did you check this one ? is it perfect setup ?" and you answered "Sorry to disappoint you, it does not look like clean setup up for me.try to ingore sideways.pattern should clearly indicate that new curve can be formed" but as soon as the bull candle crosses sma towards up I would assume that I have a good setup for taking a buy position according the rules because I don't know yet that a sideways pattern will be formed after that?{image}Ignored
DislikedThis system looks good when you get into a trend, but I had a look at some ranging periods (which you wouldn't know were ranging until after the event) and you would lose a decent amount. For example EURUSD in July. The only way then is that you put the trade to break even on the next candle but then you would miss out on when times were good in a lot of places. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} was thinking about gann, so interesting to know of your comparison. most concern is thd DD of this method. it won't be always like Bk8's example. will be following with forward demoing and will upload results as they occur ... RisingSunIgnored
DislikedGood morning. Have made a conservative entry following a signal of xpMA indicator posted earlier here. I like a fixed TP and for this method it is 50 pips or $500 per 1.0 lot as taken. For EurChf, TP might have to be reduced to half or so. Let's see how it goes. RisingSun {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you do not mind, I would suggest you to create a seprate thread for your system.... If we talk about multiple systems on this thread that may confuse traders who just want to try SMA based system.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Bk8, xpMA entry is almost identical, only that it does not have the shift paramater. So it is still your system. But I have deleted that post. I still love your method. RisingSunIgnored
