I went short at 1.10522 solely looking at USD Index support as you can see below. I never enter trade without looking at Dollar Index.

Great job.. the USDLFX was not that clear.. I his a bit of a snag at first but God gave me the way to fix it on USDLFX afterwards.. However, looking at your USD Index is making me want to look in to it from now on.. It was clear as you say.. What broker are you on (if I may ask)?

Any USD pair is directly affected by the USD Index chart and the USDLFX charts which are an indication of how the USD is doing in comparison to a basket or other currencies. So when the USD Index is supported (for example) this increases the possibility of its basket price to bounce up and accordingly may push some pairs down as what happened today with the EURUSD..

Still no clear direction.. Looks like if Friday doesn't settle this, then the G20 meetings next week will be a war on the charts.. lol

Currently with Darwinex. They don't have US$ Index for trade so I've to use Fxpro charts on separate MT4. Just a tip, don't use $Index for any other pair than EURUSD, it doesn't work that well. Only Euro moves $Index considerably, most other currencies don't even make a dent.

Simple, if there is support on Dollar Index, then EURUSD won't go up without breaking Dollar Index support as its a major currency. So if the dollar support is not breached expect EURUSD to fall. That's what happened today.

Yes, because the $index/USDLFX is heavily weighted with the EU, ......what happens on EU happens closely on $index but upside down mirror image.

Might as well just use EU chart...

No, its not mirror, if it was, then support|resistance would exist on both USD Index and EU on daily chart. See the difference below.

Thats why I said 'closely' and not 'exactly'. The Euro, GBP and Yen make up 83% of the movement of $index, but Euro alone is 57%, so makes more impact than any other currency.
