Scalping 1% per pip and then you get a spike like that, with slippage, blows a gamblers account. 80 pip spike in less than a minute I can't wait for the gambling to start giving the casino money

Yes, well I wanted to keep my average position close to my stop loss so that I wasn't putting myself at risk of it reversing and taking a big loss. So I bought what I thought was right, and happy with it. Hopefully there's more in the tank still.

I see you loaded a TE with $5k. You joining us, brother?

90% of their stuff is garbage, I agree there. But it's that 10% that actually makes me respect them a bit. They've got some serious nuggets if you know how to filter them out.

I thought about it. Even if unofficially. You guys have put some fun back into trading. Most of my trading is usually done with automated strategies but I keep saying I want to get back to manual trading. I start to try it again and then something distracts me and then I am off doing something else but thinking about trading.

You and GJscalper keep this thread for yourselves. If I trade I will just leave my results in my signature.

Well, it's nice to see someone else stepping up with a TE. Most here prefer to troll or play armchair quarterback. So kudos. I'm sure GJscalper will say the same.

You have Oanda Geppy, there is a way around that stupid US rule and a way to hedge if you like. Just open a sub-account; you can have up to 20 accounts total with Oanda I believe. It's simple to switch between them. I personally use the sub-accounts for different crosses; for example, I'll play USD/JPY in one sub-account and GBP/USD in a separate one.
