spx made a gartley last night as the market closed so didn't take it. It was a shame because it hit it perfectly at exactly the wrong time. Looking for next one.

One thing about todays market run is most people say most things are different. Then again they say most times in most bull markets? I hadn't read any of that Scott but I don't know, I confess I haven't really looked much at the ISM till now. Seems to me there has to be something from somewhere that breaks the bulls. I don't know where that swan comes from but I bet China may have something to do with it. I've been taken out of 2 positions in the SPX so far which have had a nice profit on them for a time. The big turns always just seem to ware traders out and then we miss them because we have had enough.

Shorting the index was never meant to be easy.

Still have 50% in on this position. My buy areas are marked for this pair.

I am keeping an eye on CPI next week as this has been the main indicator for both C Banks for further IR cuts. NZ was lower and they have now sorted out the Property Investing issues I believe that NZ cut is almost certain in the coming months and that the current IR GAP between AUS and NZ will close.

CPI Next week for AUD will be important for August Hike on the Aussie

Following week RBA IR announcement (week prior than NZ) so could cause a spike down.

Following week RBNZ IR announcement

Shorting Kiwi is currently my favored position trade.

This is a pretty certain statement from RBNZ though! I think they have a few cuts left in them yet.

Hi Scott I am watching similar. Thinking the CPI number next weak will be a big deal for this A/N pair as bad Aussie CPI number back in April 27th which caused the momentum sell-off. Seems the last spike down by Keys and the RBNZ comments on the housing bubble making it difficult to cut rates on the 7th of this month has been sorted.

I'm all long term bear Kiwi on NC and AN after the last few weeks of comments. Although fancy we will get some pull back on both.
