I think we're still in a downtrend, that is going to continue.. I note in the pic. where CIS shorted USDJPY, the whole move resulted in breaking the whole uptrend and finally the ranging period, resulting in a downward channel that we're still in. More experienced traders plz help and correct if wrong. This is the daily chart. Thank you!

FWIW, I don't trust the BoJ in the slightest... Something is going to happen. The market is too long.

It is not what one believes or not it is based on facts. When America introduce QE indexes went up each time and dollar strengthened each time. If you go back and see what happens to the Nikkei when Abe introduce Abenomics you will see that Nikkei gained and YEN weakens from 100-112 very quickly

125 to 98 also very quickly. if boe disappoints it will be back below 100 soon

Yes I share your view.

I suppose that If the resistence will be broken will be reached the UpSide part of the lateral channel (white). At this point if the bull continues the possibility to reach the 109 is real.

PS: I have changed the TP from 107.XX to 109.XX, this is the reason why you see different TP.

I agree that this is possible but only if he disappoints of which I doubt. I think when YEN rose they converted enough YEN to Dollars to pay for imports. Abe won I believe because they had faith in him that he would push more government stimulus funds to boost economy,boost tourism and exports to boost GDP numbers and economic growth.
