Hi Emmanuel

This TMS monitor running on how nay charts do you keep three separate charts for each TF ( daily, 4hr and 1 hr) or keep one and change time frame every time you want to check .
I think to get alert on each TF we need to keep open on separate chart for each Tf which we want to monitor .

May I ask you some questions: this is H1 TF, right? Did you use your trademanager? What settings do you recommend for lower TFs like H4 and H1?

Slowly I am getting a bit more confident with MEME settings based on D1 timeframe. Based on your recommendations my settings are usually max. 5 entries, grid spacing 0.5 ATR100 and 240 min. minimum, TP 0.5 ATR100 and TDI 15min cross. I also like 10 entries and 0.25 ATR spacing (all based on D1 ATR).

What settings do you recommend for H4 or H1 MEME trades?

I discovered this depth of market data trader on EUR/USD (live stream).. i Thought it looked interesting.. take a look at it from a study perceptive but Don't think It will help anyone trade.

Basic trading question regarding the use of ATR information. When considering ATR, what is the ratio the ATR to the use SL or TPs? Is that the right question to ask.
I see references all the time to ATR (put your period of choice in here), and of course you get a travel value. But then how do you trade that?
If you are on a 30M chart, do you use a certain percentage to estimate your profit target/stop loss vs a longer TF, you use a different percentage?
Is the idea that although ATR (20) may be 150 pips, the probabilities that it will move the entire length during your trade is slim (assuming something lower than a Daily)?
I see it added to a lot of charts, but never figured out how one would use it in their calculations.

So it is risky, can explain why it is risky? Other than maybe the momentum is fading?

every trade setup we see has risks.
one of the many tasks as traders is to identify those risks and know how to mitigate them.
risk#1 - what is the risk of the trade setup, where do you place your initial stop loss?
risk#2 - what is the average trading range of the timeframe you trade? has the market reached / exhausted its average trading range?
risk#3 - world events, news, economic data releases, etc. do have serious impact when trading the lower timeframes H1 and below.

I want to minimize risk of course. I'm just trying to figure out what's a good setup and what isn't

Those JPY trades are based on the weekend elections results which favours Abe as PM.
As usual, I looked at all timeframes - top down the decide to take the trade using H1.
Same trade management using the ATR-100 days to be on the conservative side. Just play with smaller ME trade distance, anything betweenm 0.25ADR and 0.5ADR or simply set fix number of pips for e.g. 25pips.

The number of ME trades/basket/position can vary depends on your maximum risk% and also the technical stop loss on your chart. But with 0.5ADR, 5 ME trades per basket is optimum. The average is about 3.5 trades for winning baskets/positions.
I do sometimes use up to 9 ME trades when I see the depth of the retracement (70%) to be big enough and can accommodate more ME trades. But this depends on the chart price action and where we see as support and resistance, also the MN swing levels which I trade. But do not increase too many ME trades in one basket too often, it is better to cut loss when the retracement goes too deep and look for other trade opportunities. Reason is limit the maximum drawdown to 10% and below for much easier recovery which is less stressful.
