Hi guys,

Is it just me or is there no sound alert for the TMS-Osc-Cross indicator?? I am not at the point of trading the 4hr chart so for me it would be helpful to have. The popup window works perfect, I was wondering if someone could add an option for a sound alert.

that indicator already make sound (alert.wav)when there is cross.
you want it to play a longer duration sound file?
easy, can be done... but there is trade off.

Can you post the adr indicator?

Today got some losses from EURGBP. GOT TROLLED BY THE CONSOLIDATION!!! Sigh
EU H1 ADR High just got hit .... TP target for intraday trading.

Here is an example how to trade H1 intraday using the ADR high-low in sideways market type.

Because of recent market volatility, it is better to trade with reduced risk and smaller lot size for those who trade using fix lot size and do not use Position Sizing.

A training chart shows UJ idling after the massive drop last week. One can see what happened last time when there was big volatility, and the retracement to 100%. There's gonna be retracement this time too, nobody knows how much or how long it will last. One thing it is for sure - the medium-long term is downwards.

So no long counter-trend trading here for me - I'll wait until we have a resumption.

This EU H1 trade went nowhere near my TP. Closed after London session close.

Yes. That Brexit weekly candle range is massive 810pips.
MN trend is Down
W1 trend is Down.

But I will make an exception to this and take one counter trend ME/ME with 1xADR(100) as my ME trade distance.

Did BigE ever discus when the stochastic are in the oversold/overbought area and if trade should be avoided? I know that the 'masses' typically trade in opposite direction of these zones, and your average smart trader trades against the sheep. :nerd:
Would you mind please sharing your thoughts on this?

You must study Post#261 and post#647.
The rules for 5-Method are simple and few, but your must know PA and supp/res the way Big E see them.

Hi,

Big E evolved to become more and more a price action trader. He was a newbie in 2008 and was active in the Stochastics Secrets [click] thread. He then went on to trade with Craig Harris Stochastics Method [click] and then moved on to use the TDI when he developed the 5-Method. The Stochastics 8,3,3 then became less important in the way he use the TDI for his trade entry and exit. Sometime in mid-2011, he dropped the use of the 5EMA and relied more on price action.

Whether you want to use the Stochastics in the overbought and oversold regions depends on how good you read price action and how you reconcile the different timeframes.

Both the TDI which is RSI data and the Stochastics are oscillators which work great in sideways ranging market type. But in strong trending market type, these oscillators are less effective.

- ADR low and high lines seem to be fixed at the beginning of the broker's day but when one of them is reached during the day (they change color to become red ) , we can noticed that the other line has moved toward the one reached which stay identical ?
- what I do not understand is the rule of calculation : why these lines can move and how much ?
Do you want me to send charts to be better understood or am I clear ?
